Mark Owen
Another “squeaky clean” celeb is turning out to be a womanizer. British singer Mark Owen has admitted to cheating on his wife with at least ten women during the course of their five-year relationship. The 38-year-old boyish member of Take That admitted his transgressions to Emma, the mother of his two kids whom he married last year. He told The Sun, “She loves me and I let her down. I’m really sorry.” “I’ve been living with the guilt. It has always been there- you carry it around with you. It held me back in my relationship with Emma. I wouldn’t have done any of this if I had my time again. I am halfway through my life now and this, in a way, is a lesson. You’ve got to learn and that’s what I am going to do.” “Emma is really strong and I know she will do what is right for her and the kids. I support that and I really appreciate that. She loved me – she still does love me – and I have let her down. That’s the truth of it.” He added that he has been completely faithful to her since their wedding in October. But just a month before that, he slept for the last time with accounts manager Neva Hanley, 24, with whom he has had an affair for the most part of his five-year relationship with Emma. The rest of his affairs were one-night stands with girls while the boyband was on tour. “I don’t know how many girls were there in all. Maybe ten.” And as to the reason why he strayed from his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Owen blames alcohol for his behavior. He said that he wants a fresh start that’s why he is confessing his sins now.
