Everyone but Eminem is talking about Bruno stunt
Posted in: News of the day by newsdesk on June 3, 2024
Eminem was mum Monday night about the MTV Movie Awards incident with Sacha Baron Cohen. FULL MOON: The plop thickens for Sacha Baron Cohen and ‘Bruno’ The rapper, performing at a private concert to celebrate the launch of the DJ Hero video game, said nothing from the stage about the incident in which Cohen, dressed in character as Bruno, a flamboyant fashion reporter, dropped down on the rapper’s face, exposing his bare bottom. Of course the litany of celebrities who were in attendance (Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, Kim Kardashian and Tobey Maguire) couldn’t stop chatting — or giggling — about the spectacle that had everyone wondering — staged or not? “This is like the new Britney,” joked Pete Wentz before the concert. “I would not put my (butt) in Eminem’s face. Seriously, I would not want Sacha Baron Cohen’s (butt) in my face. I know that much.” Wentz and Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus joked that they were considering wearing feathers and thongs to the concert, but feared retaliation. Actor Tyrese Gibson, who sat in the row behind Eminem at the MTV awards, said that he saved a few feathers that he was able to grab off of Cohen. “That was crazy! I don’t know what’s going on with that whole situation, but I tried my best to help dude get off of Eminem,” Gibson said. “But yo, that was crazy. That was a bit much. That was nuts!” Actress Taraji P. Henson, who helped introduce Eminem’s performance at the movie awards, said it had to be a skit . “That was staged! Do you really think it wasn’t? They would not put a man’s naked (butt) in Eminem’s face and not let him know. Come on! They’re not stupid,” she said. “When something crazy didn’t jump off, I was like, ‘Oh, OK! He knew!’ “ Comedian Aisha Tyler said staged or not, the incident gave people something to laugh about. “I don’t want to be a hater, because I love Sacha Baron Cohen, but this was already done by Howard Stern. He did this like, 10 years ago, at the movie awards. Sasha does have a nicer butt than Howard, though,” she laughed. “But I think it was probably a stunt, and that’s OK. Hollywood is about theater. We’re so jaded in this town, so anytime people get us talking, it’s a good thing.” DJ AM, who performed with Travis Barker (”I don’t know if the Eminem thing was staged,” Barker said) before Jay-Z and Eminem took the stage, said that he missed the live show, but saw highlights and couldn’t believe what he saw. “That was kind of crazy,” he said.
M.I.A. gave the main stage at Coachella her best shot. It just didn’t work out.

After a strong start, a few hiccups, and a somewhat listless finale, the Grammy-nominated new mom declared at the end of her hour-long set in the desert that “next time I’m back in the tent.” “I want to be in the sweat,” she said. M.I.A. had performed twice in smaller tents at the music festival, in its tenth year and one of the nation’s most prestigious. She noted earlier, “I really don’t know how to bring it on the main stage.” And her live show staples — climbing on speakers, dancing body-to-body with the crowd — didn’t quite fit the new digs. When she tried to bring some of the audience onstage Saturday night, security guards thwarted most fans. M.I.A. ended up on a platform above the crowd performing “Bird Flu,” and asked when it was over: “Can we get some order in the place? My baby’s waiting.” She gave birth to a son in February, a few days after the Grammys. The Killers took the main stage to close the evening. The Las Vegas-based group, who began with their most recent single “Human,” appeared far more comfortable in the setting. Wearing a black No Limit Records T-shirt, sneakers and jeans with Day-Glo green lining, M.I.A. performed songs from her two most recent albums and gave up the spotlight to Baltimore-based protege Rye Rye for a song. While she moved alongside Day-Glo-clad dancers for a lively opening number, she stood stiffly at other times behind a podium adorned with microphones as if at a news conference. Roaming into the audience with help of a piggyback ride, she finished with crowd favorite “Paper Planes,” lifted to hit status by appearances in “Pineapple Express” and “Slumdog Millionaire.” But the British-born, Sri-Lankan-bred rapper pushed back against Hollywood. She slyly referenced her status as Coachella replacement for Amy Winehouse, who canceled due to visa trouble, by singing “They tried to make me do the Oscars. I said no, no, no.” And, she noted, “I want to let you know that just ‘cuz I did the Grammys, it doesn’t mean I’ve gone all sold out.” Though she wasn’t embracing Hollywood, some of its regulars certainly wanted to be around for her. Zac Efron was seen ducking out of the fest’s VIP area in the afternoon Saturday, and Paris Hilton posed for pictures with her new boyfriend during Thievery Corporation’s popular main stage set just before M.I.A. Also performing Saturday were Joss Stone, TV On The Radio, Fleet Foxes — who apologized to fans after suffering repeated technical problems — and Travis Barker and DJ AM, who had the dance tent crowd roaring at their drum-assisted remixes of pop hits. Exact figures weren’t released but crowds at the three-day festival appear to have more than doubled the approximate 75,000 population of this community southeast of Palm Springs. Police reported 17 arrests Saturday and fire officials said two people had been taken to hospitals. Temperatures, climbing throughout the fest, were expected to hit the high 90s on Sunday, which features the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Public Enemy, My Bloody Valentine and the Cure.
Kendra’s fiancé teaching her how to shoot gun
Posted in: Models, News of the day by newsdesk on April 8, 2024
Former Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson has revealed that her fiance Hank Baskett has been teaching her how to shoot a gun these days. The former ‘Girls Next Door’ star and the Philadelphia Eagles player went to a shooting range on April 3 for some target practice.
“Hank and i went to the shooting range the other day so that he could teach me how to shoot a gun, or two or three hahaha,” Us magazine quoted Kendra as writing on her blog.
And Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend also joked that she was ‘definitely a pro now’, and even said it was an important skill to learn. “I think its so important that every woman learn self defense. Plus, it’s fun,” she wrote.
Wilkinson said that she posted photos of herself, which included “pics of me working the rifle and of Hank showing me how its done!” The couple will get married on June 27 at the Playboy mansion.
Kendra Wilkinson exemplifies the image of a down-to-earth tomgirl who found herself in the right place at the right time, and is now living the dream of many American girls.
Wilkinson, grew up in San Diego, Calif. and attended Clairemont High School, located five miles north of metropolitan San Diego. The future Playmate was working as a dental assistant in her hometown when Playboy founder Hugh Hefner happened to stumble upon a photograph of her that had been sent to his mansion. Wilkinson had been asked by a friend to attend Hefner’s 78th birthday party as a body-painted party girl, and when Hefner saw her photograph, he knew he had seen something special.
The Playboy mogul and the sports-loving tom girl met for the first time at his birthday party, and Wilkinson moved into the mansion as one of Hefner’s girlfriends shortly after. Wilkinson soon became a star of “The Girls Next Door,” a reality television series which premiered in August of 2005 on E! (Entertainment Television). The series, which is the brainchild of executive producer Kevin Burns and Hugh Hefner himself, focuses on the lives of Hefner’s three girlfriends who live with him at the Playboy Mansion. To celebrate the enormous success of the television series, Playboy published a special nude pictorial of Holly, Bridget, and Kendra in their November 2005 issue. The original eight-episode run of the series was expanded into a 15 episode series due to the positive audience reaction. A second season has been confirmed to begin airing in August, and will feature exciting events in the lives of the Playmates such as the celebration of Kendra’s 21st birthday and a trip to San Diego. The DVD of the first season of the show will soon be released as well.
In addition to starting in a hit television series, Wilkinson has also made many television show guest appearances on programs such as “The Tyra Banks Show” and “The Late Night Show with Craig Ferguson.” She even appeared in the smash parody film “Scary Movie 4.” Massage school has been consuming much of Wilkinson’s time lately, and she hopes to soon fulfill her dream of becoming a sports massage therapist or a sports announcer. The entertainment world has just begun to experience Kendra Wilkinson, for much more is sure to come of this beautiful Playmate.
