Tinie Tempah is heading back to the studio with Labrinth

Although Tinie is currently enjoying huge success in the US and is tipped to work with huge stars including Pharrell Williams and Usher, he’s first going back to the studio with Labrinth, who was behind his first two hits ‘Pass Out’ and ‘Frisky’.

Speaking at the Ivor Novello awards in London Ö where ‘Pass Out’ was named Best Contemporary Song Ö Labrinth told BANG Showbiz: “Tinie and I were just talking at the table and we’re actually going to be getting back into the studio very soon, so we’ll probably be getting another one of these next year.

“Tinie is a hard working dude man, he’s great at what he does, he’s a special guy and he’s doing brilliant.”

The ‘Let the Sun Shine’ star isn’t worried about other producers eclipsing him on Tinie’s second album however – when asked if the tracks he makes will be the alum’s best tracks he replied: “What do you mean? Of course!”

Labrinth – who is signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label Ö also joked he would like to help modernise his label mate Susan Boyle’s sound.

He said: “I want to make her the sickest track in the world man Ö it would be Susan on dubstep!”

Labrinth’s debut album is set for release later this year.
