The Wanted
Foo Fighters and Paul Simon to play iTunes Festival.

Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters who this week topped the iTunes album chart with Wasting Light said, ‘We are really excited to do the iTunes Festival in July and to perform at the legendary Roundhouse. And the fact that it’s going to be broadcast to so many people is really exciting, because making music is more about the audience than the band sometimes. I feel like the opportunities we have to reach out to more people through technology is a wonderful thing; to see the world get together and experience music, live’.
Paul Simon said, ”m excited about hitting the road with my band after a few years off the road. I am looking forward to performing at the iTunes Festival on July 1st, it should be great to play songs from the new record as well as some old ones at the Roundhouse’.

Twenty Twenty hit the road with The Wanted and release ‘Love To Life’

Twenty Twenty hit the road with The Wanted and release 'Love To Life'
Hailing from Essex and Cambridge, Twenty Twenty are lead singer and guitarist Sam Halliday, his brother bassist Jack Halliday and drummer Sonny Watson-Lang. The band formed in early 2009 after Sonny agreed to play drums with the Halliday brothers.
Since then the trio have steadily created an incredible buzz prior to their major label signing. Honing their craft playing live shows with the likes of JLS, McFly, Selena Gomez and The Sugababes and touring the UK on their own headline sold-out tours throughout 2010, they amassed a huge fan base along the way.
Their independently released ‘Get Down Live With Twenty Twenty’ DVD sensationally reached No.4 in the UK’s music DVD charts, behind only the likes of U2 and Michael Jackson.
Now with major label support in the shape of Geffen, Twenty Twenty will release their new single ‘Love To Life’ on 17th April followed by a mini album in late April. Written by the band and produced by Julian Emery (McFly, Simple Plan, Lissie), ‘Love To Life’ is an infectious cocktail of rock and pop featuring an indelible melody, an anthemic sing-along chorus and soaring guitar riffs, while the lyrics reveal the excitement of feeling love for the first time.
The band recently supported on The Saturdays UK tour throughout February to great acclaim – and will now be supporting The Wanted on the following tour dates:

The Wanted join the 'make mine Milk' campaign.
The Wanted join the ‘make mine Milk’ campaign. Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly and Britain’s newest pop phenomenon, The Wanted, have been unveiled as the latest big names to back low fat milk as part of the ‘make mine Milk’ campaign. The TV star and the five Wanted members ‘ Max, Tom, Nathan, Jay and Siva ‘ will be sporting the iconic ‘milk tash’ on thousands of bus sides and posters across England, Scotland and Wales from 17 January 2011.All six celebs jumped at the chance to become part of the multi-million-pound ‘make mine Milk’ campaign, which was launched in April 2010 by world famous chef Gordon Ramsay and British singing sensation, Pixie Lott. Further A-listers including R&B idol Usher, Formula 1 driver Jenson Button, supermodel Elle Macpherson and the four Hollywood stars of The A Team movie were revealed later in the year.Meanwhile, the boys from The Wanted, who topped the charts last year with their debut single All Time Low, are fronting a new online competition called the ‘make mine Milk’ Challenge, which dares Brits to down a pint of nutrient-dense, low fat milk in the quickest possible time. Twenty-year-old Jay McGuiness who beat his bandmates with an impressive time of 5.07 seconds, said: ‘ am loving being part of the campaign because I beat everyone else at the ‘make mine Milk’ Challenge ‘ I downed my pint of semi-skimmed milk in 5.07 seconds and that’s a record!.’ Irish-born Siva Kaneswaran, 21, who worked as a model before joining The Wanted, added: ‘Milk is one of my favourite snacks. I live with all the lads from The Wanted and we’re always fighting over the last of the milk. I buy my own stash now ‘ the boys take the mickey out of me but there’s nothing worse than running out of milk!’ The ‘make mine Milk’ campaign is designed to revive the nation’s love for milk, reminding people that most milk varieties contain less than 2% fat, and as it is nutrient-dense, low fat milk is also extremely healthy. It was created by the Milk Marketing Forum, which is a consortium of leading dairy companies comprised of Arla Foods UK, Dairy Crest Limited, First Milk, Milk Link and Robert Wiseman Dairies, with support provided by Dairy UK and The Dairy Council. Of the £7.5m spend, a third comes from European Commission funding.
