Thirty Seconds To Mars massive tour. Fast on their way to becoming one of the world’s biggest bands, Thirty Seconds To Mars’ status in the UK has already been proven with shows this year that include a sold-out arena tour as well as a headline slot on the second stage at Download Festival. Their undeniable popularity continues to grow with the confirmation of their biggest UK tour to date which commences at the end of November. The tour, including a show at London’s 02 Arena on November 30th, will see the band play to a combined audience of over 50,000 people (support provided by Enter Shikari).

Thirty Seconds To Mars will follow their triumphant Download set with the July 19th release of the new single ‘Closer To The Edge’. Co-produced by Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails), Steve Lillywhite (The Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel) and Thirty Seconds To Mars, the uplifting ‘Close To The Edge’ is led by Jared Leto’s soaring vocals and backed with an undercurrent of electronic flourishes. Taken from the global hit album ‘This is War’, ‘Close to The Edge’ features backing vocals courtesy of the band’s fan community The Echelon, who contributed to the album’s recording during sessions in nine different countries stretching from America to Australia. Formed by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto and completed by Tomo Milicevic, Thirty Seconds To Mars have won numerous awards and accolades, including an MTV Video Music Award, three MTV EMAs, an MTV Latin and Asia Award, a Fuse Award, and three Kerrang! Awards.
Peter Gabriel covers album ft Radiohead, Arcade Fire,Elbow
Scratch My Back’ is expected in early 2010. Peter Gabriel is set to release an orchestral covers album featuring the likes of Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Elbow and Bon Iver. Award-Winning The Black and White Years, are coming to London
SXSW Award-Winning art rock band ‘The Black and White Years,’ is coming to London to open for Basement Jaxx and KanYe West. Austin indie art rockers, The Black and White Years, will make their debut performance in London at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park. The band is scheduled to play both dates of the two-day festival with headliners Basement Jaxx on July 4th and KanYe West on July 5th. The Black and White Years were the standout band at 2009′s South by Southwest with four outstanding showcases including a performance with Devo, Tricky and Datarock; plus a relentless week that kicked off by winning five major awards at the 27th Annual Austin Music Awards, the ceremony which marks the beginning of the SXSW Music Festival. The Austin, Texas four-piece were presented with SXSW trophies for Best New Band and Best Song for their single, Power to Change, Best Performing Band – Rock and Best Bass Player (John Aldridge). In addition, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads, Modern Lovers) won the award for Best Producer of the Year for his work on The Black And White Years’ eponymous debut album.
