Ex-Ramones Manager Linda Stein’s Assistant Found Guilty Of Murdering her.

Ex-Ramones Manager Linda Stein's Assistant Found Guilty Of Murdering her.
The personal assistant of rock music manager and “real estate agent to the stars” Linda Stein has been found guilty of murdering her on Tuesday. Natavia Lowery has been convicted of bludgeoning the former Ramones manager to death in 2007. In October 2007, Stein was found dead in her Manhattan apartment. It was found out that her death was caused by blunt trauma to the head and neck. Prosecutors said that 28-year-old Natavia Lowery stole more than $30,000 from her boss and clubbed her with a yoga stick. Lowery first denied she killed Stein, who managed the legendary rock group Ramones during their heyday, blaming the murder on a masked stranger who told her to keep mum about it. However, about a week and a half later, she confessed to the crime, saying she killed Stein after her employer pestered her about the pace of her work and blew cannabis on her face. Her lawyers argued that the videotaped confession was coerced. It was later revealed that Stein died without a trace of cannabis in her system. Lowery will be sentenced on March 22. Stein, who was married to Sire Records president Seymour Stein, managed the Ramones with Danny Fields before she became a real estate broker. She landed multi-million dollar apartments for A-list stars, such as Madonna, Sting, Bruce Willis, Elton John, and Angelina Jolie.
