1234 Shoreditch Festival announces first wave of bands
Continuing on from the phenomenal success of its first year. The 1234 Festival returns for its second outing on Sunday 26th July, bringing with it a whole host of the best new genre defying bands and Dj’s over three stages at its much loved stomping ground of Shoreditch Park nestled in the heart of London’s East End. Back for 09 with a fully heaped serving of infamous1234 East End musical mash up magic and good times shenanigans, this year sees yet again the best bands, the best people, the best location, the best of everything one festival can bring- all rolled into a jaw dropping bonanza price of just 15 English Pounds which includes the all day festival and also ten after shows and parties in Shoreditch. Converse Music announce new online documentary series
Converse Music announce a new online documentary series -’Journey’ an exclusive series following the highs, the lows, the backstage, the front of house, the road trips, the home life and all the bits in-between of four young lads from the band Lion Club, one of 2009’s most urgent new bands cracking the music industry today. The series follows the band’s trials and tribulations on the road and behind the scenes, providing a telling insight into making it in today’s competitive Music Industry. The 3 minute plus weekly videos will be exclusive to conversemusic.co.uk, capped by a 50 minute final edit, making this one of the most exciting online documentary projects to be commissioned in recent years.
Over the course of 9 months, Lion Club will be opening up their world to us, documenting the rise of this enigmatic group; the band will be supplied with their own cameras enabling a candid and open story of life on the road. The Converse Music Media Team will also join the band on occasions and at live Shows. Whilst on their journey throughout the industry this initiative will provide great documentation of one of Britain’s most promising and talented groups.
Lion Club are on the cusp of notoriety, backed by Sean Mclusky the group are set to unleash their unique melancholy sound upon the masses. Journey’s documentation on film of rehearsals, recording sessions, live shows and antics on the road, is set to mark a pivotal era of British music, allowing fans to follow the band in an almost real-time scenario.
