Eels are set to embark on a three date UK tour this July around their appearances at T in The Park and Oxegen Festivals.

The dates follow last year’s massive 2010 world tour and the release of album ‘Tomorrow Morning.’ ‘Tomorrow Morning’ was the final installment of a trilogy that began with ‘Hombre Lobo’ (June 2009) and ‘End Times’ (January 2010).

Newest, Biggest, Ambitious Homecoming Festival Announces Launch and Line-Up!!

 snowpatrolThis 2 day entertainment extravaganza boasts 12 arenas in the midst of the beautiful Scottish Coastline, with each day running for 14 hours. The festival has already confirmed a prestigious line up of many big name, credible artists across numerous genre’s including; Tom & Gary (Snow Patrol see photo on the left). Babyshambles DJ set featuring Adam Ficek, Chris Geddes (Belle and Sebastian), Teenage FanClub DJ set ft Norman Blake, Utah Saints DJ set, Masters at Work, Taio Cruz, Lisa Lashes and Reverend and the Makers …to name just a few!

Kicking-off the festival season in glorious technicolor, Homecoming is your explosive springboard onto the UK festival calendar after a lengthy biting winter. One glance at the veritable smorgasbord of acts confirmed for Homecoming Festival, and you’ll see the cream of the beat-busting genre-crossing crop, all with one theme in common -’let’s boogie’. Whether you’re riotous rocker or raring raver, Homecoming is the place for you to party, get your rocks off and ‘ave it large.

High on the Homecoming agenda is eliminating the typical mud-drenched drudgery of normal festival protocol. Happy campers will be treated to the cockle-warming ‘Homecoming Village’ which includes a licensed bar, comedy tent, camping store, exclusive food vendors, ATM machines and a fairground, alongside toilets, shower and washroom facilities.

Homecoming festival will take place at the stunning setting of Irvine Beach Park, Ayrshire, Scotland, over the May Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May). May is one of the best months for weather in Scotland, giving the lowest rainfall and highest number of hours of sunshine all year. And… as the site is sand-based with every arena undercover, it can easily stand any rainfall and not leave big puddles –it’s a weatherproof festival!

Homecoming festival is easily accessible by air, road, sea and rail! Ryan air offer cheap flights to Prestwick, which is only two train stops away from site. It also has great links from Ireland. See website for full travel details.
