Bar Refaeli, Bradley Cooper Partake In Nike’s Primetime Knockout Tennis Event.  Fashion Week is coming up fast, but until September 9, the U.S. Open is the big event in New York City. And some of fashion’s biggest names are getting involved. Various celebrities, including supermodel Bar Refaeli, were at Nike’s Primetime Knockout tennis event to celebrate the season’s final Grand Slam tournament by pairing the athletes with local youth during an exhibition match in New York. Refaeli took some time to participate in the event before gearing up for New York fashion week, set to start on September 9. In preparation for the event, Bar honed her game back in Israel with her trainer. She reportedly wasn’t as good as Maria Sharapova, but it seems that no one really noticed her tennis technique; people more noticed her tennis skirt. Bar Refaeli, among other celebrities, played a few tennis matches for the Nike Tennis Event for the U.S. Open. Also at the event were actor Bradley Cooper, New York Giants defensive lineman Justin Tuck, and tennis stars Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal.
