Cooking Channel To Serve Up New Shows From Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay And More. The Cooking Channel is bringing the heat into the kitchen with a whole new lineup of shows. This fall viewers will get to see new shows that will feature cooking colossals Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, along with a new series that will feature Nadia G and Al Roker. Rachael Ray’s “Week in a Day” will be her first solely food-focused show in nine years. The show will introduce her fresh groundbreaking cooking concept for busy families that encompasses one day of cooking for five days of eating. Fans can tune into “Brunch @ Bobby’s” as Bobby Flay celebrates his favorite meal of the week, brunch on Sunday. Flay will cook from his relaxed Hamptons kitchen as he whips up everything from French breakfasts, Italian brunches and family favorites. Al Roker will be adding a new dimension to food shows with his executive produced-series, “My Life In Food.” The show will take a serious look at food issues such as allergies and obesity that have affected various communities across the U.S. Chef-comedienne Nadia G will lighten things up with her show, “Bitchin’ Kitchen,” while cook Kelsey Nixon will give a fresh take on cooking basics. Good Morning America the Daytime Emmy Nominees are Announced.
Daytime Emmy Nominees Announced, Ellen DeGeneres, “General Hospital” Score Multiple Nods. The nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards have been announced, with the soap “General Hospital” leading the tally with 18 nods overall. Although Ellen DeGeneres did not score a hosting nomination, her eponymous talk show got 8 mentions. “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is up for Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment against “Rachael Ray” and “Live with Regis and Kelly.” DeGeneres missed out on a nomination for Outstanding Talk Show Host, though. Rachael Ray, Bonnie Hunt, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, and the women of “The View” got that honor. The Daytimes Emmy Awards is set to take place in Las Vegas in June 27, and will air on CBS.
