Pixie Lott
Pixie Lott champions Brit style

Pixie Lott
Pixie Lott likes British fashion best.
The Brit songstress is famed for her quirky style, and is currently working on her third collaboration with glam clothing brand Lipsy.
The 20-year-old says although American fashion is very glam, she prefers the more edgier, casual look that her native girls sport.
‘L.A. girls have a different sense of style. They look glam and groomed all the time. But I prefer British fashion. It’s much more individual, very cool and we’re great at being kooky and fun!’ she said in an interview with Closer magazine.
The British singer says America is best for shopping however, as the clothes are cheaper. Pixie loves shopping in boutiques in London but sometimes the pieces are too expensive.
‘There are lots of boutiques in London, but the bargains are in America. Brands like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Levi’s are cheaper over there,’ she revealed.
Pixie says she can’t live without accessories and relies on them to constantly update her look. The blonde beauty has also revealed her fashion ‘guilty pleasure’.
‘Jewellery,’ she said when asked what her must-have item is. ‘ wear rings every day, on all my fingers, and layer loads of necklaces. And UGG boots are my guilty pleasure.’

The Wanted join the ‘make mine Milk’ campaign. Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly and Britain’s newest pop phenomenon, The Wanted, have been unveiled as the latest big names to back low fat milk as part of the ‘make mine Milk’ campaign. The TV star and the five Wanted members ‘ Max, Tom, Nathan, Jay and Siva ‘ will be sporting the iconic ‘milk tash’ on thousands of bus sides and posters across England, Scotland and Wales from 17 January 2011.All six celebs jumped at the chance to become part of the multi-million-pound ‘make mine Milk’ campaign, which was launched in April 2010 by world famous chef Gordon Ramsay and British singing sensation, Pixie Lott. Further A-listers including R&B idol Usher, Formula 1 driver Jenson Button, supermodel Elle Macpherson and the four Hollywood stars of The A Team movie were revealed later in the year.Meanwhile, the boys from The Wanted, who topped the charts last year with their debut single All Time Low, are fronting a new online competition called the ‘make mine Milk’ Challenge, which dares Brits to down a pint of nutrient-dense, low fat milk in the quickest possible time. Twenty-year-old Jay McGuiness who beat his bandmates with an impressive time of 5.07 seconds, said: ‘ am loving being part of the campaign because I beat everyone else at the ‘make mine Milk’ Challenge ‘ I downed my pint of semi-skimmed milk in 5.07 seconds and that’s a record!.’ Irish-born Siva Kaneswaran, 21, who worked as a model before joining The Wanted, added: ‘Milk is one of my favourite snacks. I live with all the lads from The Wanted and we’re always fighting over the last of the milk. I buy my own stash now ‘ the boys take the mickey out of me but there’s nothing worse than running out of milk!’ The ‘make mine Milk’ campaign is designed to revive the nation’s love for milk, reminding people that most milk varieties contain less than 2% fat, and as it is nutrient-dense, low fat milk is also extremely healthy. It was created by the Milk Marketing Forum, which is a consortium of leading dairy companies comprised of Arla Foods UK, Dairy Crest Limited, First Milk, Milk Link and Robert Wiseman Dairies, with support provided by Dairy UK and The Dairy Council. Of the £7.5m spend, a third comes from European Commission funding.
