Black Rebel Motorcycle Club released their fifth studio album, Beat The Devil’s Tattoo, on the 8th March 2010. This release signifis the band’s first full-length on their own Abstract Dragon label, in partnership with Vagrant Records and Co-Op Music Group. The band wrote and recorded the majority of the album at The Basement Studio in Philadelphia, PA ‘ the same room where they wrote and recorded ‘Howl’ the rest was done in their hometown Los Angeles. Beat The Devil’s Tattoo also marks the first album with drummer Leah Shapiro. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club December tour dates. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have announced that they will be returning to the UK for a December tour. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are currently in the UK, mid way through a world tour. Unfortunately due to illness the band were forced to postpone their Nottingham Rockcity show on Saturday 24th April. The new date is December 3rd. and all existing tickets will be honored. The current UK tour continues in Liverpool tonight.December dates are as follows:

Mew to support Pixies in US
Mew will bring their intoxicating live shows back to the U.S. beginning November 30 in Philadelphia and running through to December 14 with a final stop in Los Angeles headlining the Henry Fonda Theater. The band has also been tapped by The Pixies to join the legendary band at their December 1st show in Washington, D.C. at Constitution Hall. The Pixies aren’t the first influential band to hand select and generously give Mew their stage.
