Ozzy Osbourne is a 'hypochondriac'
Ozzy Osbourne is a ‘hypochondriac’. The 61-year-od rocker is always paranoid he is going to get ill and tries to stop himself from getting sick by exercising regularly. He said: “I’m a hypochondriac. I love exercise though, I like breaking out in a sweat. I don’t do stretching or any of that s**t, I go on the cross-trainer of the bike.” As part of his healthy lifestyle Ozzy – whose wife Sharon overcame bowel cancer – no longer eats junk food and he tries to only dine on organic products. He explained: “I don’t like junk food any more. But it’s easy for me to say that, I can afford all the organic stuff. If you can feed a big family a bucket of KFC chicken for 10 bucks then you’ll do that. Not everyone can afford the healthy organic s**t they say we’re meant to eat.” Although he is now in his 60s the reformed heavy metal wildman has no intention of giving up performing at any point in the near future. Ozzy – who is currently on his ‘Ozzfest’ world tour – said in an interview with Closer magazine: “I’ll only stop when there’s a nail being banged into my coffin! My job’s not a real job, it’s a passion. It’s not like I have to do a job I hate. It would be different if I had to go and clean toilets.”

Rock Veteran Ozzy Osbourne
Rock Veteran Ozzy Osbourne to play I-tunes festival. The iTunes Festival is back with a bang for summer of 2010 and on the 3rd night you can tune in live to watch Ozzy Osbourne play London’s infamous Roundhouse. The former Black Sabbath frontman is expected to play tunes from his new album ‘Scream’ The Sword will be supporting rock veteran Ozzy in what looks to be a night filled with classic rock. Osbourne has recently said he is glad he’s revived his rock career – as he feared he would be remembered for his shambolic appearance on reality TV show “The Osbournes”. Osbourne was catapulted back into the public eye when cameras captured his madcap antics for the series, which first aired in the U.S. in 2002. Fearne Cotton, Dave Berry and Matt Edmondson will be keeping you up to date with the best of the iTunes Festival throughout the month of July. Tune into ITV2 every Thursday & Friday from 8 July at 10pm. Watch highlights on ITV1 on 29 July, 5 August & 12 August.
