The 26-year-old singer-and-actress ‘ who split up with husband Pete Wentz after just over two years of marriage in February ‘ has been spotted kissing and holding hands with the actor in New York.
It is not the first time Ashlee, who has two-year-old son Bronx Mowgli with former ‘Fall Out Boy’ star Pete, has spent time with another man since her break-up ‘ she has also enjoyed the company of D.R.U.G.S. front-man Craig Owens, who is a good friend of her ex’s.
However, in March Ashlee was seen holding hands with her 32-year-old estranged husband, sparking speculation the pair had reconciled as she ‘lovingly leaned’ on him while out.
A source said: ‘Ashlee and Pete held hands, and Pete especially looked very happy. While waiting for their drinks, Pete had his arm around Ashlee and they definitely looked like a couple again.
“Ashlee kept smiling and lovingly leaned on Pete.”
The two singers enjoyed spending time with one another at the Coachella music festival in Los Angeles last weekend and decided to see each other again in New York a few days later.
A source close to Usher said the pair have been friendly for a long time and have shared some “passionate kisses”.
They told The Sun newspaper: “They had a really good time together last weekend and wanted to see each other again somewhere private straight after. They’ve known each other for a long time but it’s always been bad timing.
“They’ve had a few long, passionate kisses. There’s definitely a spark between them.
“It would have been too obvious to go somewhere in LA and they were both going back to New York for work commitments.”
Earlier this year the ‘OMG’ hitmaker declared his musical interest in the ‘S&M’ star, revealing he wanted to record a duet with her.
He said: “Of course I’d do a track with her – hold on! We’ve been friends and our teams work together and we’ve talked about working together in the past, but it could potentially happen.
“I would love to work with her – I think she’s an incredible artist.”
The 17-year-old singer is the latest star to be honoured with his own replica figure by famous museum Madame Tussauds and he unveiled his double in London today (15.03.11) in front of a few lucky fans while thousands more watched via a live web stream.
The ‘Baby’ hitmaker seemed impressed by his likeness although he commented that he had grown in height since he posed for it.
He told museum staff: “It’s pretty incredible to see. I’m taller but this was a point in time.
“It looks awesome, thanks very much.”
Fan Grace Magraff, 14, said: “I cannot believe I am in the same room as Justin and his figure is amazing. I don’t want to leave; I just want to stay by his figure forever! It’s brilliant, just like him. I love it!”
The waxwork was created with the help of the teenager’s personal hair stylist to ensure it had his signature sweeping cut – which he recently ditched – and is dressed in a fashionable black and red shirt with jeans.
Justin gave sculptors in New York a sitting late last year, where hundreds of precise measurements were taken. The figure then took four months to complete at a cost of £150,000.
Liz Edwards, PR manager at the attraction, said: “The interest in Justin’s figure has been truly phenomenal. We were absolutely inundated with requests from young fans to include him and since we announced that we were indeed making his figure we’ve been besieged by ‘Beliebers’ wanting to know when they can come and see him here.
“We’re sure they will be as pleased with the final results as Justin seems to be today.”
Figures of Justin were also revealed at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam and Madame Tussauds New York today.
The ‘Born This Way’ singer says her glamorous look is her normal state and she would dress in one of her outrageous outfits no matter what she had planned that day. Speaking to US TV host Gayle King – while wearing spikes on her face and shoulders, huge platform shoes and a leather dress – she said: ‘ live a glamorous, stylish life. It’s nothing to do with money or anything. It’s just the way I choose to live.
‘ just woke up in my New York apartment and just wanted to be myself today, so I wore my vintage mute glare catsuit and these are my favourite shoes right now.
‘They’re creepers and they’re made into platforms. I’m very excited about that. It’s just another day at the office.’
She also tried to convince Gayle the spikes in her face were natural, adding: ‘They’ve been there this whole time but I waited until I’d put ‘Born This Way’ out for you to see them.’
Gaga, 24, also said claimed she does not take herself too seriously, and doesn’t worry about criticism.
She added: ‘ always like to say people take me too seriously and not seriously enough at the same time. I think there’s an incredible amount of scrutiny on young women and I think there’s a tremendous amount of analysis that goes into everything, but I just don’t care what people think of me to be perfectly blunt.

Kanye West Voluntarily Wraps Gifts For Foster Kids. Kanye West may be all about his ego most of the time, but for 90 minutes, he made it all about the kids. The controversial rapper/singer spent an hour and a half gift wrapping presents for foster kids at a charity event in New York. The great thing about the deed is that Kanye wasn’t even asked to wrap the gifts. He just happened to be in the area where the New Yorkers for Children’s 8th annual “Wrap to Rap” event was taking place so he decided to help out. According to TMZ sources, he was not scheduled to attend the event on Tuesday, but he still strolled right in at 6 p.m. and asked if he could help out. When some people at the event asked why he wanted to help, he apparently said that he simply felt compelled to lend a hand because it was a good cause. The insiders said Kanye “cheerfully” wrapped some of the 2,000 gifts donated by Wal-Mart before quietly slipping out the back.

American Express Goes Big on Small-Business Push. American Express, which is shunned by some small businesses looking to avoid high fees, has crafted an extensive program to promote those same businesses this holiday season. Kenneth Chenault, American Express chairman-CEO, speaks at a press conference in New York to announce Small Business Saturday as Mayor Bloomberg looks on. Typically, American Express charges higher fees for acceptance of its cards than rivals Visa or MasterCard. That not only makes it hard for some small businesses to accept, but has led at least one major retailer, H&M, to discontinue acceptance of the card. Still, that hasn’t stopped American Express, which has long promoted its cards to small business owners, from promoting Small Business Saturday this holiday season. Slated for the busy weekend after Thanksgiving, American Express is promoting Saturday, Nov. 27, as a day to support local businesses. That day is expected to be the sixth-biggest sales day for retailers this holiday season and the eighth-busiest day, in terms of traffic, according to the International Council of Shopping Centers. American Express did not respond to requests for comment, and it’s not clear exactly how many small businesses across the country accept the cards. Ed Gilligan, vice chairman at the company, said that small businesses use American Express cards more than any other card in the country, during an interview with CNBC earlier this month. He did not clarify whether those merchants using the cards also accepted the cards, however. To promote the program,American Express is running a national advertising campaign, as well as encouraging small business owners to register for free Facebook ads. The first 10,000 business owners to sign up will receive $100 of free Facebook advertising in the days leading up to Nov. 27. Those businesses do not necessarily have to accept American Express, Mr. Gilligan told CNBC. Facebook has also donated $500,000 in credits for those businesses to use in the future. The movement has taken off on Facebook, where nearly 875,000 people “like” the program. American Express had committed to donating $1 to the nonprofit Girls Inc. for each like, up to $500,000. American Express is also offering consumers a monetary incentive to shop at small businesses. The first 100,000 to register their American Express card will receive a $25 statement credit for spending more than $25 at a locally-owned, independent small business that accepts American Express on Nov. 27.”Small business is the engine of job creation in the U.S. economy,” Kenneth Chenault, American Express chairman-CEO, said in a statement. “It is also among the sectors hardest hit by the recession. By spreading the word about Small Business Saturday, we can help raise awareness about the critical role small businesses play in cities and towns across the country at a time when they need support the most.” According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, there were nearly 28 million small businesses in the U.S. last year. And, according to The 3/50 Project, a small-business advocacy group, for every $100 spent in locally-owned, independent stores, $68 returns to the community through taxes, payroll and other expenditures. Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become a part of the holiday shopping lexicon, but other themed days have fallen flat. Mobile Tuesday, promoted in 2008, never got off the ground. And Super Saturday, the last Saturday before Christmas, is most often referred to by industry insiders, not consumers.

The new New York resident even released a statement about the new bathroom locations. “With my recent transition to New York, I’ve been checking out all the gifts the City has to offer visitors and New Yorkers alike,” says Kardashian. “During the holiday shopping season, I’m happy to join Charmin as they give the gift of the Restrooms near Times Square.” The new location of the Charmin Restrooms are at 142 West 42nd Street. Before making the trip, it has not been confirmed if Kim actually used the facilities. Kim Kardashian has previously lent her face and brand to tanning products, Skechers shoes, and even her own pre-paid debit card from Mastercard.

Tom Ford Ends Six-Year Break From The Womenswear World. Tom Ford took a six-year break from womenswear, but he’s announced his return. After showing his new womenswear collection in New York during fashion week in September, he said he will reveal the entire collection to the public. The spring 2011 collection was shown to several fashion editors and journalists in an intimate hotel. Ford managed to convince several of his high profile muses – Beyoncé Knowles, Lauren Hutton, Liya Kebede, Rinko Kikuchi, Stella Tennant, Amber Valletta, Natalia Vodianova, Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Julianne Moore, amongst others – to model his new designs. The collection reportedly reminded several of the 100 editors and journalists of Ford’s best collections for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. “There’s a continuity from what I was doing at YSL at the end; that’s the customer,” Ford told Vogue. “It’s about individuality. Real clothes, real women. For a fashionable woman aged 25 to 75. That’s why I literally put many of my own muses in the show. I hear them say, ‘God, I can’t find that anywhere!’” Photos from the spring 2011 collection on his famous models can be seen on the Internet, which is something Ford doesn’t necessarily agree with. “I do not understand everyone’s need to see everything online the day after a show,” he said. “I don’t think it ultimately serves the customer, which is the whole point of my business—not to serve journalists or the fashion system.” In addition to the collection’s coverage in Vogue magazine, Ford will also guest edit and appear on the cover of French Vogue’s holiday issue in December.
Idlewild’s U.S. tour cancelled due to guitarist injury. Idlewild’s U.S. tour dates have been cancelled due to an injury to Rod Jones. The guitarist recently broke his collarbone in an unfortunate accident and is unable to perform. “Myself and the rest of the band are absolutely gutted that we won’t be able to do these shows at this time,” Jones said. “I know this is a disappointment to some of you who have been patiently waiting for five years to see us there and it is a feeling we share with you as a band. Again I’d like to extend my sincere and heartfelt apologies and hope to see you some time in the near future.” The revered Scottish folk-punk outfit was due to make their long-awaited return to the U.S. to perform shows on the East and West Coasts in support of their recently released sixth studio LP, Post Electric Blues.
