“Real Housewife” Sonja Morgan Filing For Bankruptcy

“Real Housewife” Sonja Morgan Filing For Bankruptcy

“Real Housewife” Sonja Morgan Filing For Bankruptcy. It looks like Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise is staying current with the times as yet another star is finding herself in a financial mess. “Real Housewives of New York City” member Sonja Tremont-Morgan has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing $19.8 million in debt and $13.5 million in assets. Gossip sites are reporting that the man-eating blonde on the show is not in denial over her money crisis, unlike some other housewives in the news these days. Morgan explains, “The decision to seek bankruptcy relief was not an easy one, but unfortunately, I am at a crossroads in my life.” Her troubles began with a lawsuit filed against her by Hannibal Pictures, Inc. Reports indicate her production company, Sonja Productions, failed to produce a film called “Fast Flash To Bang Time,” which was to star John Travolta. The project never saw the light of day as her production company couldn’t meet Travolta’s “various conditions” and demands, with Hannibal pressing charges against her and winning $7 million. Despite the circumstances, the reality television star has a few future projects in the works. Morgan still has her spot on the “Real Housewives of New York” cast , and plans to release her own cookbook and potential clothing line as well. Other “Real Housewives” stars such as New Jersey’s Teresa Guidice and Washington D.C.’s Michaele Salahi have also found themselves in hot water and filed for bankruptcy.

The Rolling Stones Celebrate Thanksgiving With VH1 And Palladia. This month is the Turkey holiday of Thanksgiving. While many people will be thinking of three big Fs – food, family and football – this year’s Thanksgiving should make people think about one other thing: music. VH1, VH1 Classic, and Palladia are collaborating to put on three different music specials on three different days during Thanksgiving week highlighting the best of the legendary The Rolling Stones. Two initial world television premiere documentaries will lead up to a third premiere of “VH1 Rock Doc: Shine A Light.” On Wednesday, Nov. 24th, VH1 Classic will show the pivotal documentary “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” the acclaimed film directed by Hal Ashby. The documentary shows a performance from the Stones’ 1981 tour, including performances of classics from their album “Some Girls,” including “Just My Imagination,” “Beast of Burden” and “Some Girls.” The next day, Thanksgiving, VH1 Classic and Palladia will show “Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones.” Following that taped concert will be “In Rehearsal: The Rolling Stones at Montreux,” hosted by VH1 Classic Rock Night radio show host Eddie Webb. Finally, on Black Friday, Nov.26th, VH1 will end its Rolling Stones-athon with the world premiere of the VH1 Rock Doc called “Shine a Light.” The 2008 documentary directed by Martin Scorsese documents The Rolling Stones’ 2006 Beacon Theater performance in New York City on their “A Bigger Bang Tour,” which will feature special guest performers on stage with the band, including Jack White, Buddy Guy and Christina Aguilera

Bandleader Max Weinberg Won’t Follow Conan O’Brien To TBS Conan O’Brien’s return to late night will leave one faithful bandleader behind. Max Weinberg, the funnyman’s longtime bandleader, won’t be joining Coco on his late night show premieres on TBS. Max, the drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street band, led The Max Weinberg Band when Coco fronted the “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” on NBC. He also led the Max Weinberg and the Tonight Show Band when Conan briefly hosted the “Tonight Show.” But by “mutual agreement,” he will not be joining Conan when the comedian returns to late night on November 8. Conan said, “Max has been a huge part of my life for the past 17 years and he is an incredible band leader and musician. I hope he can find time to stop by the new show, sit in with the band, and pretend to find my monologue funny.” The drummer replied in a statement of his own, “Conan and I met on a New York City street corner in the Spring of 1993 and my association with Conan, his staff, and crew has been a deadly rewarding experience for me.” “I thank them for their first rate work on the bandstand. I wish Conan and his show the best and I do look forward to dropping by.” “Conan,” Coco’s new show on TBS, will premiere November 8.

Her grand prize includes $2,500, a trophy, a trip to New York City to see Broadway’s “The Lion King” and Odor-Eaters supplies. Simply put, Robinson was “happy” about her victory. Lady Gaga’s Former School Shocked by VMA Performance

Lady Gaga

Nuns were displeased when shown a video of Lady Gaga’s performance of “Paparazzi” on Sunday. After watching Lady Gaga’s controversial performance of her song, “Paparazzi,” at the MTV VMAs last Sunday, nuns from the Catholic school in which the singer was raised are in shock by what she has become, sources report. Educated at one of the Sacred Heart schools in New York City, her former teachers were most definitely displeased when shown a video of last Sunday’s performance, featuring a pants-less Lady Gaga choreographed towards her own graphic death at the performance’s finale. Despite Lady Gaga’s current success in the pop music world, the nuns at her former school are far from pleased with their famous alumna. The pop star, predominantly known for her scanty and outrageous outfits and tell-all exploits, is not considered to be a revered alumna from the Sacred Heart School on East 91st Street. According to the New York Post, the school’s spokesperson could not be reached after news of the nuns’ reactions hit the press.
