Armin van Buuren awarded 'best global dj'

Armin van Buuren awarded ‘best global dj’. During the annual International Dance Music Awards (IDMA), record company Armada Music has again been awarded ‘Best Global Record Label’ Armin van Buuren won the award for ‘Best Global DJ’ and ‘Best Podcast’, Dash Berlin received the award for ‘Best Hi-NRG/Euro Track’ and Armada’s very own Managing Director Maykel Piron was chosen ‘Best Record Label Executive’. In total, Armada Music received 6 International Dance Music Awards. Armin van Buuren, awarded ‘Best European DJ’ last year, has now been crowned ‘Best Global DJ’. The Dutch DJ, topping the DJ Mag Top 100 for three years already, also received the ‘Best Podcast’ award, for his A State of Trance Podcast. Maykel Piron, Managing Director of Armada Music, won the award for ‘Best Record Label Executive’, a sign of his effort and hard work to make Armada Music the number one dance label in the world. Dutch DJ/producer Dash Berlin, who has released his debut album only a few months ago and has his own Aropa label at Armada Music, didn’t only perform at the award show but also came to pick up his award for ‘Best Hi-NRG/Euro Track’, for his collaboration ‘Waiting’ with Emma Hewitt. The International Dance Music Awards, officially part of the Miami Winter Music Conference, is known as the leading award show in the international dance music industry.
