“The Gossip Queens” Will Premiere On Logo On September 26. MTV’s Logo channel and Entertainment Studios cable network Comedy.TV will start airing its newest TV show “The Gossip Queens,” a daily half-hour talk show featuring four American comedians. These “queens” will talk about pop culture, entertainment news and celebrity gossip, of course, starting on the show’s premiere on September 26. On each show, the hosts, Loni Love, Alec Mapa, Michelle Collins and Bernadette Pauley, are joined by guests: magazine editors, celebrity gossip bloggers or reporters who can also dish and tell the latest gossip. For those who don’t know, each comedian has guest starred on various TV shows: Love just starred in her own one-hour comedy special on Comedy Central, and has appeared on “Chocolate News,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” and “Chelsea Lately;” Mapa has co-hosted “The View,” guest-starred on “Seinfeld,” “Roseanne” and “Friends,” and had a stand-up comedy special on Logo called “Wisecrack;” Collins is the Managing Editor of VH1’s BestWeekEver.tv and makes regular appearances as a panelist on “Chelsea Lately,” “The Joy Behar Show” and “The Tyra Banks Show” as a comedian, and earned two Webby Awards for Best Celebrity Fan Blog; and Pauley is a comedian who has appeared on “Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen,” hosted several episodes of “Comedy.TV” and regularly performs at comedy clubs, theaters, casinos and colleges nationwide. “Loni, Alec, Michelle, and Bernadette are all extraordinary talents, and this show is the perfect blend of comedy and gossip,” said Byron Allen, founder, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios, in a statement. “The Gossip Queens” is fresh, bold, and funny. This show is simply unstoppable.” “The Gossip Queens” will air five days a week in syndication on various TV stations in several cities, including WCIU in Chicago, WTSP in Tampa, WRDQ in Orlando, NBC O&O KNTV in San Francisco and WBFF in Baltimore.
