Steven Tyler is joining ‘American Idol’ as a judge. The Aerosmith singer let slip his role on the pop star search show following a concert in Las Vegas on last Saturday night. When asked what his future plans were, Tyler, 62, said: ‘Recording an album and I’m probably going to be judge on ‘American Idol’.’ He later added: ”m doing it. What do you think? I’m doing it.’ Despite his claims, ‘American Idol’ bosses are yet to confirm the ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ rocker’s appointment. Tyler’s claim comes after Ellen DeGeneres quit ‘American Idol’, and Kara DioGuardi was fired as part of a shake-up of the series following head judge Simon Cowell’s departure. It is believed the show will return to having just three judges, with Jennifer Lopez joining Tyler and the remaining original judge Randy Jackson. “Sources connected with the ‘American Idol’ negotiations tell our source Kara DioGuardi has judged her last contestant on ‘American Idol’ – because she’s been fired. “We’re told the show will be going back to a three-judge format and assuming all deals are finalised, the judge’s panel will consist of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.’ Singer-and-actress Lopez has reportedly been in talks with show boss Simon Fuller for several weeks.

Marvel has rescinded their offer even before they had signed a deal. He said, “This offensive statement from Kevin Feige at Marvel is a purposefully misleading, inappropriate attempt to paint our client in a negative light.” “We know a lot of fans have voiced their public disappointment with this result, but this is no excuse for Feige’s mean spirited, accusatory comments. Counter to what Kevin implies here, Edward was looking forward to the opportunity to work with Joss and the other actors in ‘The Avengers’ cast, many of whom are personal friends of his.” “Feige’s statement is unprofessional, disingenuous and clearly defamatory. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon assigned the role to the Oscar nominee, recognizing “his ability to focus attention on and mobilize support for conservation and other philanthropic issues.” He said, “Edward Norton has brought global star power to global issues – community development and conservation, causes that are clearly close to his heart. His efforts to preserve biodiversity and promote ecosystem integrity in East Africa have been truly impressive.” “I hope his new Crowdrise initiative will inspire people to get involved in addressing the biodiversity crisis and in protecting the web of life on which our well-being depends.” Crowdrise is an innovative social networking platform that Norton helped launched.
