First Footage From “Scream 4″ Premieres At Spike TV’s “Scream” Awards. While “Scream 4” is the one of the most highly anticipated films of 2011, even the first look at official footage from the film was overshadowed by the stars’ off-screen troubles. David Arquette made his first public appearance since his separation from Courteney Cox Saturday at the taping of Spike TV’s “Scream” Awards. Cox, previously scheduled to appear, was a no-show. Arquette took the stage with his fellow “Scream 4” co-stars Neve Campbell and Emma Roberts, as well as director Wes Craven, there to introduce the first look at the upcoming sequel. “‘Scream’ was the first slasher film of our generation to break down the rules of survival in a horror movie,” Arquette said at the event, set to air Tuesday. The “Scream” awards also featured a first look at “Scream 4” and its extensive all-star cast, including quick glimpses of cast members Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Marley Shelton, Alison Brie, as well as cameos from Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, and Shenae Grimes. “Welcome home Sidney,” the killer tells Campbell’s character in the world premiere clip. “You’re a survivor, aren’t you Sidney? What good is it being a survivor when everyone close to you is dead?” “Scream 4” won’t hit theaters until April 15th, 2011, but the exclusive first footage airs on the “Scream” awards today on Spike TV at 9pm ET/PT.

Betty White To Guest Star On “Community”. After her guest spot on “SNL” earned NBC big ratings and helped them score six Emmy nominations, Betty White is heading to “Community.” The network has locked her in for a guest appearance on the Joel McHale-starring comedy when it returns in the fall. According to the Hollywood Reporter, White will guest star on the second season’s premiere as an esteemed anthropology professor June Bauer that also happens to be off her rocker. NBC has not officially announced the premiere date for “Community,” but it’s expected to return along with the rest of NBC’s Thursday night comedy line-up in September or early October. Meanwhile, White earned a second season pick-up for her new TV Land comedy “Hot in Cleveland.” She’ll also appear opposite Kristen Bell and Jamie Lee Curtis in this fall’s “You Again.”
