Kirsten Dunst’s Purse Thief Given 4 Years In Jail. Kirsten Dunst’s purse thief has been sentenced to four years in jail Tuesday. James Jimenez, 36, was convicted of burglary and trespassing after stealing the actress’ $2,000 Balenciaga bag from her hotel room in 2007. Jimenez took the designer purse from the 28-year-old actress’ suit at the Soho Grand hotel when Dunst was in town to shoot a movie. He was also found guilty of stealing her “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” co-star Simon Pegg’s cell phone, as well as other items from the hotel. He continued to deny the charges during the trial. His pal, Jarrod Beinerman, was also charged in the case. He previously pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to 4 and a half years in jail. Defense lawyer Robert Parker argued that Beinerman was in Dunst’s suit to sell drugs, which the actress denied in the Manhattan Supreme Court. Parker was quoted by New York Daily News as saying, “I will certainly build a case against Ms. Dunst,” adding that he will try to convince the D.A. to file perjury charges against her.”I don’t think there’s a person on this planet who would believe… she doesn’t smoke marijuana. That is a complete fabrication.”
Angelina Jolie had an “animalistic quality” since her teenage years. Shots of the “Salt” star during a photoshoot when she was just 15 have resurfaced as part of an auction by Profiles in History on Friday and Saturday.
The black-and-white pictures, shot by famed celebrity photographer Harry Langdon, were suggested by her father, Jon Voight. Langdon told RadarOnline.com that at just 15, she was “a real natural” and already knew what image she wanted to project. He said, “I admire her for coming alone. Daddies, mommies and boyfriends on a photo session can dampen the best performer’s performances.” One of the rare shots features the now 34-year-old mother of six in a bikini on all fours. Langdon says even then she had an “animalistic quality.” Other photos going under the hammer are shots of Teri Hatcher, Sarah Jessica Parker, George Clooney, Kirsten Dunst, Diana Ross, Halle Berry, Will Smith, and Drew Barrymore. Michael H. Epstein and Scott E. Schwimer Glamour Photography Auction will be auctioned by Profiles in History on March 26 and 27.
There’s a certain kind of Italian celebrity for which there is no real equivalent in American life: velina, a term that encompasses the beauty queens, aspiring actresses, and showgirl-slash-models who dominate the country’s television shows wearing miniskirts, mile-high heels, and smiles wider than the Appian Way. Their onscreen responsibilities range from prancing and bouncing to fawning over their older male companions, yet their charms Continue reading →
These are our top 10 2009 beach bodies today with number 2 . If you come back tomorrow you will find number 1 here, and so on for ten days long. Enjoy No.2 – Megan Fox. Megan Fox and the sun have one major thing in common: They’re both way too hot. Fox is the one actress in Hollywood who’s actually too attractive, to the point that it may actually prevent her from appearing in anything that doesn’t feature giant robots and/or her exposed midriff. A slender, olive-skinned actress whose elegant beauty is somewhat offset by a collection of Continue reading →
The dancer-turned-actress Jennifer Morrison made her film debut in the movie “Intersection.” She has also starred in “Urban legends Final Cut” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” but she currently has a role on the Fox drama “House.” The actress was born August 19, 1979, in Chicago and has dated co-star Jesses Spencer. An actress who first earned her critical laurels (and reeled in a substantial television fanbase) as Dr. Alison Cameron on the blockbuster medical drama House (2004), Jennifer Morrison grew up well outside the realm of Hollywood, in a middle-class family in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois. As a preteen and teenager, Morrison entered showbusiness via modeling, appearing in innumerable print campaigns and gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids at one point; after wrapping up high school, she attended Loyola University as a theater major (reportedly graduating in only three years) and subsequently trained with the legendary Steppenwolf theatrical ensemble, onetime home to such stars as John Malkovich, Gary Sinise, and Glenne Headly. From there, Hollywood fame was merely a short leap away; by the time of her Loyola graduation, Morrison had already officially debuted onscreen, with a small part as the daughter of Richard Gere and Sharon Stone in the psychological drama Intersection (1994) and a more significant role as a missing girl who psychically haunts Kevin Bacon in the supernatural thriller Stir of Echoes (1999). Morrison signed for her first lead with a role that many felt unworthy of her talents and intelligence: that of Amy Mayfield, a young film student who gets in way over her head amid a thesis project on urban legends, in John Ottman’s slasher outing Urban Legends: The Final Cut (2000). Subsequent projects included Michael Davis’s teen-oriented romantic comedy 100 Women (2002), Casey La Scala’s teen comedy Grind (2003), and — as something of a nadir — the critically despised holiday gross-out fest Surviving Christmas (2004), in which she played Ben Affleck’s snotty girlfriend. As indicated, House represented Morrison’s breakthrough and the role that finally brought her public attention. The long-running Fox drama told of Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), a diagnostician with an astounding degree of medical knowledge and an absolute dearth of social skills. As Dr. Cameron (an immunologist with a not-so-secret crush on the physician), Morrison brought a much-needed dose of warmth and vulnerability to the series. Morrison subsequently made headlines in 2007, when she was tapped to appear as Winona Kirk, James T. Kirk’s mother, in J.J. Abrams’s much-anticipated 11th installment of the Star Trek series.
