Nancy And Ann Wilson Of Heart, Snooki Added To “VH1 Divas Salute The Troops” Line-Up. “VH1 Divas Salute the Troops” is going to have even more Heart. The special, which sees female-fronted acts performing for the troops, has added Nancy and Ann Wilson of Heart to the line-up, plus appearances by Brandy and Snooki. Nancy and Ann Wilson of Heart are set to perform with Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, who will perform at San Diego’s Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. They’ll join previously announced performers Katy Perry, Keri Hilson, Sugarland, and Nicki Minaj. Paramore, fronted by “Airplanes” singer Hayley Williams, will head to an undisclosed military base in the Middle East to visit with the Marines, soldiers, airmen, and more. Comedian Jeffrey Ross has been added to the line-up as well, while Brandy, supermodel Marisa Miller, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from “Jersey Shore” will present.  For the first time, VH1 has partnered with the USO to bring the iconic event, which has boasted performances from Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Aretha Franklin, and Celine Dion in the past, and the girls to the troops and their families.    “VH1 Divas Salute the Troops,” hosted by Kathy Griffin, will premiere Sunday, December 5th at 9pm ET/PT on VH1.

Katy Perry, Paramore To Salute The Troops On “VH1 Divas” Special. This year’s “VH1 Divas” is going military style. Katy Perry, Sugarland, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, and Paramore have all signed on for “VH1 Divas Salute the Troops.”
For the first time, VH1 has partnered with the USO to bring the iconic event, which has boasted performances from Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Aretha Franklin, and Celine Dion in the past, and the girls to the troops and their families. Katy Perry, Sugarland, Keri Hilson, and Nicki Minaj will all perform for the troops at San Diego’s Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Far East Movement Kicks Off Their “Up In The Air” Tour. Far East Movement, a band also known by the name of just FM, will kick off their “Up In The Air” tour on September 13th in Anaheim, CA with Mike Posner. The group’s first single “Like A G6″ is currently #12 overall on iTunes Top Songs and #5 on iTunes Top Pop Songs. The song is also still climbing on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart(last placed at #41) and is #25 on the country’s digital song sales chart. FM’s members Kev Nish, Prohgress, J Splif and DJ Virman started the band in Los Angeles where they’ve already had a #1 song at radio with the hit “Girls On The Dance Floor.” Their music bridges the gap between underground club and mainstream hip-hop and pop music. They’ve coined the term ‘Free Wired’ to describe their lifestyle and sound that blends elements of Hip-Hop, Pop, Electro and Dance. “We want people at our shows to feel free to let loose and ‘geek out’ however the feel comfortable. Our music and lifestyle is about making sure everyone is having a good time,” states Kev Nish. Far East Movement have already taken the Los Angeles club scene global; they’ve already done two world tours, including recent stints with Lady Gaga, N*E*R*D, Robyn/Kelis and LMFAO. The ‘Free Wired’ debut album will also feature appearances from Ryan Tedder, Snoop Dogg, Keri Hilson, Pitbull and Lil’ Jon.
