Kelly Clarkson loves her “bubble butt”

Posted in: Talk of the Town by newsdesk on September 9, 2024

Kelly Clarkson loves her bum. The My Life Would Suck Without You singer loves being a role model for curvy girls, and is especially proud of her shapely posterior. She said: “I totally have no chest, I’m all butt. Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a bubble butt - I get it from my mama. Guys are usually like, ‘Oh my gosh, look at that butt!’ In a good way! “I’m a fan of my butt. I like filling out a pair of jeans, because sometimes I see girls who can’t and I feel bad about that.” Kelly, 27, has been criticised for her fluctuating weight, but insists comments (Read more…)

Kelly Clarkson to guest judge on Idol. The ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ singer - who won the first series of the US TV talent show in 2002 - will appear as a guest judge at an audition next week. A source said: ‘Kelly is beyond excited to get back to the show that started it all.’ It has also been claimed Kelly and the other current judges - Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi - will be joined by one of the Jonas Brothers to find America’s next pop superstar. Following the departure of full-time judge Paula Abdul, who is believed to have quit the show over an alleged pay dispute, a (Read more…)

Kelly Clarkson doesn’t have a problem with her weight. ”When people talk about my weight, I’m like, ‘You seem to have a problem with it; I don’t. I’m fine!’ ” Clarkson says in the September issue of Self. “I’m never trying to lose weight – or gain it. I’m just being!” But her record company doesn’t feel that way. Clarkson wrote on her blog in January that “they Photoshopped the crap out of me!” on her “All I Ever Wanted” album cover photo. Now Self, the same magazine in which her above quote appears, also retouched her September cover shot to make her look more svelte. Watch the behind-the-scenes video of the shoot. Lady GaGa wants to kick some butt and beat Beyonce to award

Posted in: Awards by newsdesk on August 13, 2024

LADY GAGA has admitted that she can’t wait to take on Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards. The Poker Face star said she was “delighted” to be battling it out with the Crazy In Love singer and is determined to snatch the top prize from her. Both ladies are in the running for nine awards including Video of The Year and Best Female Video prizes at the 13 September (09) event in New York. Lady GaGa said she was thrilled with the honour, and is adamant she won’t go home empty-handed. She said: “So excited! I can’t believe it. I’m delighted to be in Beyonce’s company, and I can’t wait to go to the awards show and hopefully kick some butt. The two singers are up against Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Pink and Taylor Swift in the Best Female Video category and Eminem, Britney Spears and Kanye West for the Video Of The Year award.

Though the ratings for “American Idol” have been down a bit, that’s hardly Ryan Seacrest’s fault, which is probably why he was able to sign a three-year contract extension worth $45 million, making him the richest reality show host on the market. In the 2007 film “Knocked Up,” Seacrest (playing himself) goes on a rant about how many jobs he has. “I don’t understand the young talent in this town — I’ve got four jobs! Hell, I’m more famous than half the people we talk to anyway!” The guy actually undershoots his target: Between “Idol,” his on-air gig at E!, his two radio shows (the daily “On the Air With Ryan Seacrest” and the weekly “American Top 40″) and his production duties on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Bromance” and “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated,” his schedule is pretty well packed. But he’s certainly well compensated. And you know what? He probably deserves more. In this year’s “Celebrity 100″ (put together by Forbes), Seacrest came in at number 44, having made $38 million in the past twelve months. His regular gigs are augmented by red-carpet hosting events and ABC’s special on New Year’s Eve. But if rappers have taught us anything, it’s that diversification is the key to financial success. Seacrest has got that in spades as well, as he is under contract with both Coca-Cola (as part of his “Idol” gig) and Proctor & Gamble (cleverly, he endorses Crest). Seacrest’s old deal was reportedly worth $5 million a year, so assuming that he isn’t taking any pay cuts, he’ll yearly income will increase to at least $48 million. He also recently shared (via his Twitter) that he is working on another reality show project with Lindsay Lohan. That could bring in another $6 million, which would put him up over the $50 million mark. (As a sidebar: Do you think Brian Dunkleman reads these numbers and weeps silently to himself?) Seacrest takes a lot of heat — after all, he is paid tens of millions of dollars to do what seems like very little. But he’s basically carrying all of pop radio on his back and has a natural charisma that most people in the reality show universe. Seacrest will probably never eclipse Dick Clark as far as his contributions to music history are concerned (Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are great, but Clark helped bring Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and Chubby Checker to the masses), but it’s hardly his fault that he was born thirty years too late. $15 million for Seacrest interviewing crazy people at “Idol” auditions? He’s earned it.
