Kat Von D was scheduled for an interview on “Good Day L.A.” to promote the new season of her hit TLC show, when an introduction mentioning her now-ex Jesse James led her to walk off the show.
Co-host Jeff Michael introduced Von D onto the show saying, “She just broke up with fiancé Jesse James, but not before getting a tattoo of his childhood picture.”
Then, the show aired a pre-approved clip of the show from TLC, which shows Von D excitedly showing James his birthday present, which was a tattoo of a young James on her body.
When the clip was over, Von D was out of the building. Kat Von D just walked out of the building,” co-host Jillian Reynolds said. “I’m sure it’s because of the Jesse James stuff.”
Reynolds revealed that the only stipulation of Kat’s interview was not to ask about Sandra Bullock, Jesse James’ ex, or Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, which they had no intention of doing. Producers had advised her that they would ask about the break-up.
This all led to a Twitter war between co-host Reynolds and Von D, who first tweeted, “Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for each other never fails to disappoint me.”
“Why was it disrespectful?” Reynolds responded. “We said you guys broke up. We showed the clip your publicist sent. It showed you and Jesse. Were we not supposed to mention you broke up?”
But Kat says it was the “disrespectful intro” that she believes they “snuck” in was what ultimately made her leave.
“Publicly disrespecting people for the sake of better ratings isn’t something a person of compassion does,” Von D added. “Good day.”
Jesse James and Kat Von D are still going strong-and they want everyone to know it. In a recent interview with People Magazine, the couple talked about their upcoming wedding.
James, 42, said that rumors of a break-up are “absolutely not true.” In fact, James says, “Things are completely good with us.”
Von D backs up her fiancé by adding that the rumor that the two split up is “the farthest thing from the truth.”
James and Von D were engaged in January and have been busy planning a wedding for this summer.
James says “That day can’t come soon enough!”
The couple will spend time in both California and Texas. James’ children live in Austin, so the couple makes sure to spend time at their Texas home.
The wedding will take place on James and Von D’s one year dating anniversary. James adds in the interview that he is completely happy now, stating “I am absolutely more in love today than I was a year ago. She’s the one for me.”
Jesse James, Kat Von D Getting Serious. Though reports only surfaced in mid-August about Jesse James and Kat Von D’s new relationship, now James’ daughter has revealed their relationship may have started sooner than that. And things are getting serious fast – Von D might be a stepmother soon. Sunny, James’ daughter with James’ ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, revealed to her mother that Von D has been in the picture longer than anyone knew. “I got Sunny on the phone and she said, ‘Kat’s here,’” Janine told our source.”Then she said to me, ‘You know, Mom, I haven’t known Kat just a couple of weeks. I’ve known her for months.’” If that’s the case, maybe the public shouldn’t be so shocked that Von D is reportedly becoming stepmom material with each day. “Kat is closer and closer to becoming a stepmom,” Lindemulder said. Sunny didn’t express any emotion over a possible new stepmom, but she is still hurting over James’ and ex-wife Sandra Bullock’s divorce. In addition, Lindemulder says it’s too soon for Sunny to have a new mother figure in her life. “(She’s) still grieving over missing Sandra and missing her brother,” she said. “She says that Louis isn’t her brother and Sandra doesn’t have her last name, James, anymore. She thinks her baby brother is gone. She’s really hurting.”
While estranged wife Sandra Bullock is making her comeback on awards show, Jesse James is suing a web video streaming company. The former “Monster Garage” star has filed a lawsuit against Viewpartner Corporation for breach of contract among others. James and his aptly named company Payupsucker Productions claims Viewpartner never paid him for a signed deal in 2009. Payupsucker and Viewpartner signed a Sponsorship and Content Streaming Agreement, in which Viewpartner agreed to pay James’ company $155,000 for the sponsorship. But the amount was never paid. James is also claiming that in 2008, Viewpartner invaded his right of privacy when it used his name and likeness during an ad promotion of its products. Bullock’s estranged husband participated in the famed Baja 500 race and discovered that Viewpartner used footage of him in the sales presentation of their streaming video products, implying that he endorsed those products. James and Payupsucker is suing for breach of contract, fraudulent inducement to enter into contract, and unauthorized use of name and likeness. He is seeking $155,000 plus unspecified damages.
Sandra Bullock to Follow Up Cheating Scandal With MTV Movie Awards Appearance. Robert Pattinson won’t be the only welcome pretty face when the MTV Movie Awards take place on June 6. Sandra Bullock will also be on hand for the event, in her first public appearance since the cheating scandal that ended her marriage to Jesse James became public in March. The 46-year-old Blind Side actress will be there to receive the MTV Generation Award, which acknowledges actors who have engaged the MTV audience throughout their careers. Bullock will be the first female performer to receive the honor, which in the past has been awarded to Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller, among others. We might be going out on a limb here, but we’re going to guess that Bullock won’t be quite as effusive in her thanks to James as she was at this year’s Oscars.
Razzie Awards To Ask Sandra Bullock To Return Priceless Trophy. The Razzies is asking Sandra Bullock to return her Worst Actress trophy, but not because they reconsidered her acting chops in “All About Steve.” The Oscar winner had accidentally walked off with the priceless original and the award-giving body wants it back. A day before winning the Oscar Best Actress trophy, Bullock won the shameful Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Actress and Worst Screen Couple along with Bradley Cooper for “All About Steve.” Bullock, who joked at the ceremony that she would gladly return the trophy if the voters would just reverse their decision, was supposed to be handed the $4.79 replica trophy of the 30-year-old original award, but she was inadvertently given the rare collector’s item trophy worth thousands of dollars. Co-founder John Wilson told the Telegraph, “We are ready to take the unprecedented step of asking a winner to return a Razzie.” “As Sandra was in such a rush after winning Worst Actress she ran off with the original handmade prototype which has been present at ceremonies since the 1980s.” He hasn’t personally asked the actress yet because he wanted to respect her privacy after Jesse James’ alleged infidelity was made public. He is allowing the 45-year-old star to do one thing, though. Wilson added to the U.K. paper, “Sandra has our full permission to give the Razzie to her dirt bag of a husband. She’s a lovely person and it saddens me that somebody that goodhearted has been through what she has.”
Sandra Bullock Has Jesse James’ Kids Living With Her. She may appear to hate her philandering husband now, but Sandra Bullock is still a good stepmom to his kids. The Oscar Best Actress reportedly has all three of Jesse James’ children with her while the TV mechanic is in sex rehab. A source directly connected with the couple told TMZ that the kids – Sunny, Chandler and Jesse, Jr. – are all living with Sandra. But despite media speculations, they are not in her Hollywood Hills home. The situation is apparently a “positive sign” about Sandra and Jesse’s relationship. The source did not elaborate to the website what that means. Sandra has been forced to hide from the public since Jesse’s alleged infidelities broke out. She has canceled two European premieres of “The Blind Side,” the film that gave her an Oscar
Jesse James Quits Rehab After Sandra Bullock Ignored His Calls. Just after a week of treatment, Jesse James has left rehab. The TV mechanic apparently bolted from the Sierra Tucson rehab after Sandra Bullock refused to take his calls.
our source reported that Jesse wanted desperately to get back with the Oscar Best Actress but she refused to even take his calls. Although it was not disclosed what kind of treatment he sought, it is believed that he checked into the facility for sex addiction. His rehab trip was apparently his own choice and not as a result of an ultimatum from his wife. However, when Sandra continued to snub his calls, he bolted. Meanwhile, a moving truck was spotted Friday outside Jesse and Sandra’s shared home, prompting speculations that “The Blind Side” star, who has been hiding from the public since Jesse’s extramarital affairs reports broke out, is leaving her husband for good
Sandra Bullock has reportedly left the house she shares with husband Jesse James amid cheating speculations against the former “Monster Garage” host’s part. The Oscar-winning Best Actress vacated their Southern California home just days before a tattoo model publicly claimed she slept with the actress’ husband. A source told People magazine that Bullock, 45, left on Monday, just a few days before Michelle McGee alleged an 11-month steamy affair with James. Bullock also canceled the U.K. premiere of “The Blind Side” next week, citing personal reasons. The couple met in 2004 when Bullock was accompanying her godson to meet the motorcycle builder at the “Monster Garage” set. They married a year later.
Comedian Joan Rivers was hired by mogul Donald Trump and poker champ Annie Duke was fired on the final faceoff of the reality TV show “Celebrity Apprentice.” Rivers beat out Duke on Sunday’s finale by planning a better fundraising gala — and, maybe, by launching better zingers at her rival. Rivers won $250,000 for her chosen charity (God’s Love We Deliver, which brings meals to the seriously ill who are homebound). She also won sweet revenge against her bitter adversary, with whom she swapped many less-than-charitable words as the season wore on. NBC’s over-padded three-hour broadcast eventually led to Duke being summoned to the decisive boardroom session, aired live from Manhattan’s Museum of Natural History. There, she heard the dreaded verdict from host Donald Trump: “You’re fired.” But before that, as she and Rivers sat across the boardroom table from Trump, the fur continued to fly. “You are a two-faced person,” Rivers railed at Duke. “You have said I’m a cancer. You said you hoped I would die. You never said it to my face!”"For six boardrooms,” said Duke, holding tight to her composure, “I sat here and acted professional.” “Professional-ly,” Rivers corrected her. “And there’s only so much a girl can take,” Duke continued. “You’re not a girl anymore, darling,” Rivers shot back. “You’re a woman.” Rivers and Duke were the last of 16 celebrities who started the season vying for the title of Celebrity Apprentice. Each week two teams of celebrities competed in performing different tasks, and Trump would fire someone from the losing team. In its eighth season, “Celebrity Apprentice” has displayed remarkable stamina as a reality-show infomercial whose mission, in the form of a contest, is to plug brand names. Last week’s challenge called for the celebrity contestants to come up with the winning jingle to promote a certain brand of tuna. Sunday’s finale was built around a photography brand piggybacked onto product placement for a popular theater production.”Celebrity Apprentice” is also dedicated to breathing new life into the brands of the celebrity participants themselves, who, as this season began, included Olympic figure skating gold medalist Scott Hamilton, comedian Andrew Dice Clay, former “Monster Garage” host Jesse James and TV personality Khloe Kardashian. For the final task, dueling project managers Rivers and Duke were assigned to create a pre-theater party and silent auction, sponsored by Kodak, for patrons attending Cirque du Soleil’s “Wintuk.” Project teams were composed of previously fired contestants including former football great Herschel Walker, Playboy pinup Brande Roderick, country music performer Clint Black, former NBA basketball bad boy Dennis Rodman, comedian Tom Green and TV host Melissa Rivers, reunited with her mom, Joan. Difficulties (and enmity between the teams) spiked when Rivers tangled with the design firm that had been hired to assist both teams. The company pulled out on Rivers’ team — and Duke’s team, too. “This woman needs to die,” Duke seethed as she tried to fix a problem she blamed on Rivers. But now that the game is over, can the rift between them heal? In the show’s final seconds, Rivers rose to her feet and gave Duke, still seated beside her, a hug.
