INXS announce London festival headline show.
On Saturday 11th June 2011, the inaugural Southern Sounds music festival arrives at Clapham Common, London. Southern Sounds welcomes Australia’s most successful rock export to headline proceedings. With a career spanning 25 extraordinary years and a history peppered with outstanding achievements including 30 million albums sold, INXS are undoubtedly one of the world’s great bands. From headlining Wembley Stadium before 75,000 people, to winning the BRIT Award for Best International Group, to securing six consecutive Top 10 albums, INXS’ relationship with the UK has been a great love affair. In their first performance in London in over four years, Tim Farriss, Jon Farriss, Andrew Farriss, Kirk Pengilly and Garry Gary Beers make their greatly anticipated return in support of their remarkable new record ‘Original Sin’.
As their twelfth studio album, ‘Original Sin’ features covers of INXS’ earlier productions, with each song featuring a different singer. This includes Rob Thomas and Cuba’s DJ Yaleidy’s sultry teaming on ‘Original Sin’, to trip-hop superstar Tricky’s electrifying ‘Mediate’, to Ben Harper’s soulful and emotional ‘Never Tear Us Apart.’ With Professor Green’s re-work of ‘Need You Tonight’ storming the UK charts last year, INXS return to London with their signature hits as relevant as ever and loved both by long standing fans and a new generation of listeners.
In addition to an unforgettable closing performance from INXS, Southern Sounds will also play host to many more live acts and performers across three stages. With saver tickets on general sale now priced just £35 +BF, make sure you get yours today and claim your place at what will be a day to remember.

Kropp Circle is a super-charged pop-rock band out of Las Vegas and possibly the best new youth band in America. Kropp Circle comprises three over-achieving musical brothers who write their own songs based on their life experiences—and although one could argue that they’ve lived a short slice of life—their songs prove they are paying attention. With their eyes wide open and their minds engaged, displaying skill and pathos beyond their years, Kropp Circle has a voice, has something to say, and says it with conviction. Join the circle and listen. Kropp circle is an American pop band, consisting of the three brothers Sebastian (17)-guitar, Remington-piano (16), and Emerson-drums (13). On November 16th, 2009 they released 3 songs on Amazon: “Feel”, “Who we really are” and “Fade Away”. Kropp Circle are featured on Radio Disney, a nominee for Disney N.B.T. (Next Big Thing) and also known in the UK for being “one of the top 5 Finalists in both the Rock and Pop categories of the prestigious Peoples Music Awards”. The three Brothers were influenced by artists like Stevens, INXS, Coldplay, Hanson, Rob Thomas and Jason Mraz. After attending a Hanson concert the three brothers decided to form a band.

INXS back with J.D. Fortune
INXS back with J.D. Fortune. After a very public falling out in early 2009, INXS and J.D. Fortune appear to have kissed and made up and will perform together in Broome in Western Australia next week. Fortune made allegations against the band in February 2009 telling the world that he was sacked from the band. INXS manager Chris Murphy denied he was out but said ‘ guess I have no reason to call him now’. Fortune claimed to have been dumped y the band at an airport and said at the time he was ‘homeless’ and living in his car. Fortune was also battling a cocaine addiction. The band mended the relationship earlier this year and in February performed with Fortune out from in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics. INXS with J.D. Fortune are scheduled to appear at the Mangrove Hotel in Broome, Western Australia on Friday, July 16.
