Watch the new video to promote the Foo Fighters’ upcoming US tour. Entitled Hot Buns, it’s kind of a fake gay porn video in a truck stop shower!
Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters (donning outrageous trucker attire) are finishing breakfast before repairing to the showers to wash off their road grime. Which is when the real, ahem, action starts.. (Note the crafty use of Queen’s Body Language in there!)
At the end of the clip, the band shows off their big rigs -(come on, they’re truckers!) – before the US tour dates roll. How on earth can the Foo Fighters top this one? See for yourself!
For the UNCENSORED version go here! http://hotbuns.foofighters.com
Oh and don’t forget – next single ‘Arlandria’ is out Sept 5th on all download platfoms! Video is coming..

Adele will be back on top of the US chart this week with her ’21′ album outselling Foo Fighters ‘Wasting Light’ by more than two to one. Foo Fighters look like dropping back to number three in America this week, according to early figures from hitsdailydouble.com.
Adele ’21′ should sell around 150,000 units compared to Foo Fighters ‘Wasting Light’ with around 71,000 while the new Glee album ‘Glee Presents The Warblers’ will come in at number 2 on 84,000 sales.
It will be a slow week for debuts. Elsewhere down the chart Gorillaz ‘The Fall’ looks like impacting at around 30.
The US alternative rock event brings together three of the biggest acts on the planet to play in Chicago from August 5 to 7 this year. Organiser Perry Farrell, of the band Jane’s Addiction, told Rolling Stone magazine: “I wish I was 20, but unfortunately it’s my festival that’s 20. I just feel so fortunate that I was able to make something so wonderful for the musicians and the audience.
“It’s just astounding where it has evolved to. In 1991, we had seven groups and we were performing on dirt fields.”
Other acts confirmed for the festival include Cee Lo Green, Arctic Monkeys, Deftones, Tinie Tempah, deadmau5 and Muse.
Lollapalooza was one of the first events to offer a diverse bill to fans, with heavy metal, punk, dance and hip-hop acts all playing on
the same stage, and it has often found and championed upcoming bands, giving them one of the first breaks of their career.
Speaking of his eclectic choice of who plays, Perry added: “A lot of this music – we’ll call it festival music – it’s still not popular
“If you look at pop, pop is one thing. Festival music is another, and it still holds true that we’re looking to book acts that are
critically acclaimed and have credibility. It’s just very interesting that it’s become its own working organism.”
The festival has also greatly expanded during its twenty years and now boasts over 100 acts playing over its three days on its main and newly added dance stages.
Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters who this week topped the iTunes album chart with Wasting Light said, ‘We are really excited to do the iTunes Festival in July and to perform at the legendary Roundhouse. And the fact that it’s going to be broadcast to so many people is really exciting, because making music is more about the audience than the band sometimes. I feel like the opportunities we have to reach out to more people through technology is a wonderful thing; to see the world get together and experience music, live’.
Paul Simon said, ”m excited about hitting the road with my band after a few years off the road. I am looking forward to performing at the iTunes Festival on July 1st, it should be great to play songs from the new record as well as some old ones at the Roundhouse’.

With the recently leaked snippet of opener ‘Bridge Burning’ having surpassed 500,000 plays in one week, Foo Fighters have now unleashed a second morsel of hard rock goodness from their upcoming seventh studio album, out April 12 on Roswell/RCA.
FF fans jonesing for another several seconds of new material should head posthaste to http://www.foofighters.fm and move the virtual tuner to 101.5 for this new taste.
The album received its first public airing at a surprise gig Friday, January 28 at the minuscule Velvet Jones club in Santa Barbara, where the band ripped through the entire record from start to finish–and followed up with a crushing live collection of greatest hits and rarely played deep cuts including ‘Wattershed’ from the band’s self-titled 1995 debut.
In other live FF news, the band has announced its first U.S. show (so far) of 2011: a May 21 headlining appearance at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, AL. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. CST Wednesday, February 2, and will be available via http://Hangoutmusicfest.com or 888-512-SHOW. The show is the second of many domestic dates to be announced in an upcoming world tour, the first being a May 27 appearance at the Sasquatch! Festival in George, WA. Other recently announced FF dates abroad include headlining appearances at the UK’s Isle of Wight, the Netherlands’ PinkPop, Wulheide Stadium in Berlin, and numerous others across the UK and Europe including an already sold out 130,000 capacity July 2 & 3 headline ‘weekender’ at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK.
Foo Fighters’ still untitled seventh album, produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of Dave Grohl’s home in California’s San Fernando Valley. The new record also marks the Foo Fighters’ first full length effort with legendary producer Butch Vig, who produced new tracks ‘Wheels’ and ‘Word Forward’ on 2009′s Greatest Hits and with whom Dave Grohl (of course) first worked on Nirvana’s classic Nevermind. Nirvana co-founder Krist Novoselic also makes a cameo, contributing bass and accordion to ‘ Should Have Known,’ while former Nirvana touring guitarist and longtime extended FF family member Pat Smear now joins the permanent FF core of Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett.
Foo Fighters have put a 30 second teaser of the opening track off their upcoming, as-yet-untitled album.
The snapshot, which can be heard here, features a heavy Led Zeppelin-esque riff and Dave Grohl screaming ‘These are my famous last words!’ before it stops with a cliffhanger Home and Away writers would be proud of.
The album was recorded with Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ producer Butch Vig, features Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic on bass and accordion on one track and sees the band permanently reunited with original Foo Fighter and one-time Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear.
There is no official release date, but you can expect it in Spring or Autumn
Foo Fighters will headline the NME Awards Big Gig 2011. Following the news that Dave Grohl has been awarded the prestigious NME Godlike Genius Award, NME is excited and proud to announce that Foo Fighters will headline the NME Awards Big Gig 2011 at Wembley Arena on Friday February 25th. Thousands of Foo fans will enjoy a triumphant set, in what will be their first arena gig of 2011. As well as the classics, fans will be treated to previously unheard material from the band’s hotly anticipated new studio album. Commenting on the Godlike Genius Award commemorated by the Foo Fighters’ headline slot on this amazing evening, Dave Grohl said: ‘ don’t think I’m godlike or a genius. It’s flattering. It’s a nice thing to be acknowledged for doing something you love to do… In truth I don’t consider it a body of work because I don’t consider it work.’ Joining Foo Fighters for this unique one-night-only event will be the greatest voice in American music today, Cee Lo Green. Having set the internet alight in 2010 with ‘F*** You’, one of the year’s most controversial and popular singles, and his critically lauded album ‘Lady Killer’, Cee Lo Green is sure to pull out all the stops for the NME Awards 2011 Big Gig. Cee Lo commented: ”m so excited man, any Cee Lo show is good, but Cee Lo and Foo Fighters, it’s going to be off the hook.’ Tickets for the NME Awards 2011 Big Gig go on sale exclusively from www.nme.com/tickets on Wednesday 19th January at 9am, before remaining tickets go on general sale on Friday 21st January at 9am. Ticket price is £40 (plus booking fee), which includes a free copy of a 100-page special NME Dave Grohl magazine worth £4.99.
Nirvana reunion as Krist Novoselic joins Foo Fighters. Former Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl play a Nirvana rarity at secret gig. Our source told us that the Foo Fighters played a secret show in LA, debuting new material, playing classics, and getting Novoselic up on stage to play ‘Marigold’. ‘Marigold’ was the b-side to In Utero’s first single ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, one of the rare songs written and sung by Grohl during his tenure in Nirvana (he’d previously released it under a pseudonym). The rest of the show was also a treat for the 500 or so that crammed into the Paladino’s venue. The Foos played classics like ‘Times Like These’, ‘My Hero’ and ‘Learn to Fly’ as well as some of the new songs from their supposedly-very-heavy forthcoming album, including songs called ‘Dear Rosemary’, ‘White Limo’ and ‘Back and Forth’ (which is tipped to be the title track). The band are reportedly finishing up the mixing on the album, which is due out in the first half of 2011. Fans of the Foos are certain to love Scot rockers Biffy Clyro, who we had in for a uSession recently.
Twin Atlantic announce intimate club tour and debut album. Never a band to rest on their laurels, hotly-tipped Glasgow natives Twin Atlantic will hit the ground running in 2011 with their first headline tour of the year. Currently putting the finishing touches to their highly anticipated debut album at Red Bull Studio in Santa Monica with über producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies), Twin Atlantic will be playing some intimate club shows to kick off the year in style. ‘We are really looking forward to this tour. We have supported so many bands over the last year with next to no headline shows & that has made us really miss the vibe & community of our wee fan base. This is us getting back to what we do best and it is only made all the better that we have just finished recording our debut full-length album. We will be playing some new songs that define the new direction for us, and we can’t wait to let people hear what we have been working on. To top it off, it’ll be great to be back on the road with Tom DeLonge and Angels & Airwaves for the shows in Europe.” – Sam McTrusty, Vocals /Guitars.
