Kings of Leon announce huge outdoor events in 2011. Kings of Leon have announced details of a series of huge headline outdoor shows for 2011 that will see one of the country’s most adored bands perform in five UK cities this summer, including a return to London’s Hyde Park ‘ the scene of last year’s triumphant headline performance to 65,000 fans. Tickets for the shows in Coventry, Sunderland, Manchester, London & Edinburgh go on sale on Wednesday 3rd of November at 9am. Their highly acclaimed fifth album ‘Come Around Sundown’ became their third consecutive album to debut at #1 when it topped the UK album charts last week on release, claiming both the biggest week one sales of the year & the biggest ever first week digital sales along the way. Like last years Hyde Park show, their forthcoming brace of December arena shows sold out in seconds and these new shows are set to be one of the highlights of next year’s live calendar. The dates are as follows:

Liverpool’s Screaming Lights have announced details of a short UK tour in November. The band, who played at the V and Reading & Leeds festivals this summer, recently completed their first headline UK tour. The full list of forthcoming shows are as follows:

Tegan and Sara return to UK

Tegan and Sara return with the October 26th release of their new album ‘Sainthood’ on Vapor / Sire / Warner Bros. Records. The album follows their acclaimed 2007 album ‘The Con’ that won praise from publications including The Guardian, NME, Observer Music Monthly and Time Out. The duo will follow the album’s release with three UK dates in November. Tegan and Sara recorded ‘Sainthood’ at Sound City, Los Angeles and Seattle’s Two Sticks.
