New Young Pony Club confirm INmusic Festival. New Young Pony Club have confirmed to play the Sony Ericsson World Stage at the T-Mobile INmusic Festival which takes place on 22nd and 23rd June In Zagreb, Croatia. “We marry the dance ethic with the pop ethic, and make something that you can dance to and sing along to.” New Young Pony Club are a five piece rock band from London. Their influences are post punk and new wave. NYPC are influenced by many different bands and acts, and try not to risk becoming too close to the sound of any one other band. T-Mobile INmusic Festival is the biggest and best festival in Croatia. A two day extravaganza on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 June, 25,000 festival goers, featuring up to 40 local talent and international acts of world music, rock, pop, electronica. In its 5th season, the event will feature 6 live stages on the Croatian Youth Island, Lake Jarun in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. Previous years have seen all genres across the board featuring acts such as: Kraftwerk, NERD, Lily Allen, Franz Ferdinand, Tricky, Iggy Pop, Prodigy, Nick Cave, Sons and Daughters, XXTeens, Roisin Murphy, Serj Tankian, Amadou & Mariam to name a few.

Last 10 finalists chosen for Eurovision
Greece, represented by heart-throb pop star Sakis Rouvas, was among the last 10 countries chosen as finalists in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 early Friday morning. The 10 countries to qualify were Azerbaijan, Croatia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Albania, Moldova, Denmark, Estonia, Norway and Greece after voting by television viewers and juries across Europe. All 25 countries that will participate in Saturdays final are now known, setting up a showdown to determine who will take the crown in the annual extravaganza of music and camp being hosted by Russia this year. The other 15 finalists are Turkey, Sweden, Israel, Portugal, Malta, Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Armenia, Iceland, Russia, France, Germany, Britain and Spain. The countries eliminated in the second semifinal were Ireland, Latvia, Serbia, Poland, Cyprus, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and the Netherlands.
