Britney Spears ‘renting beach home’

Britney Spears is planning to rent a beachfront home in Malibu for the summer.

The singer was spotted looking around a property over the weekend. She was dressed casually as she took photos of the house with her fiancé Jason Trawick and her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“The house she checked out is for lease at just under $14,900 a month, and is also for sale for $7 million, but Brit’s people said she was only interested in a summer rental,” a source told RadarOnline.

Britney was also accompanied by her assistant and a team of bodyguards. The 30-year-old X Factor judge is believed to have spent around four hours looking at the house.

“They all seemed to really love it,” the source added.

The five-bedroom property is situated on the sand and boasts stunning ocean views and decking on each of its three levels. It also has a newly re-modelled kitchen, vaulted ceilings, 4.5 bathrooms, and the master suite situated at the top of the house has its own private sun deck. There is a studio apartment attached.

Britney last lived in Malibu when she was married to Kevin Federline.

Britney Spears ‘seeks support from fiancé’

Britney Spears reportedly constantly looks at her fiancé for ‘reassurance’ while shooting The X Factor.

The singer is a new panellist on the American TV programme and it’s been claimed she is struggling to settle into the role. Although Britney enjoys being a part of the show, she is thought to be worried about her comments to contestants.

Her fiancé Jason Trawick ‘ one of the co-conservators who look after Britney’s personal and professional affairs ‘ is always nearby when the cameras are rolling, which comforts the star.

‘Jason is never more than striking distance away from her and Britney constantly looks at him for reassurance after everything she says,’ a source told UK magazine Heat. ‘But despite Jason doing everything they can to keep her on track, insiders say Britney is finding the experience nerve-wracking ordeal and keeps threatening to quit. She’s even been heard sounding upset in her dressing room.’

Britney has impressed audiences at the auditions and reportedly reacted well when someone she worked with on her first record tried out recently.

‘The crowd go crazy every time she walks in,’ the source said. ‘But she’s like a deer in the headlights.

Britney Spears is set to take her “Femme Fatale” show to London’s O2 Arena next month and, while there, she would love to have the royal seal of approval. She hopes to perform for Prince William and Kate Middleton and is inviting them to one of her shows. Spears tells Glamour UK, which she covers this month, how cool she considers the possibility of having the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in attendance at her show, which has had celebrity attendees such as Lady Gaga and the Kardashians.

“That would be amazing. That would be really crazy and cool,” Spears said. “I think they’re a beautiful couple. Unfortunately I didn’t get to watch the wedding but I heard it was beautiful.”

Spears continues her “Femme Fatale Tour” later this month, kicking off the second leg in Russia on Sept. 22. She finally hits England at the end of October for a few shows before she does another full leg in South America.
