“Gossip Girl” Clothing Collection To Be Released.  “Gossip Girl” fans will now have the chance to dress as stylish as the shows characters. Executives for the show have inked a deal with British high street store, Miss Selfridge, to design a collection based on the characters in the hit series.  Characters such as Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, and Leighton Meester’s Blair Waldo will serve as inspiration for the line.    The general manager of Warner Bros Consumer Products U.K. Paul Bufton stated, “Fashion is intrinsic to Gossip Girl and a key ingredient in the continued popularity of the series. Miss Selfridge has created a collection that is true to the ideals of the show and one that young women will aspire to own.”  The new collection will hit stores in April.
