And some of fashion’s biggest names are getting involved. Various celebrities, including supermodel Bar Refaeli, were at Nike’s Primetime Knockout tennis event to celebrate the season’s final Grand Slam tournament by pairing the athletes with local youth during an exhibition match in New York. Refaeli took some time to participate in the event before gearing up for New York fashion week, set to start on September 9. In preparation for the event, Bar honed her game back in Israel with her trainer. She reportedly wasn’t as good as Maria Sharapova, but it seems that no one really noticed her tennis technique; people more noticed her tennis skirt. Bar Refaeli, among other celebrities, played a few tennis matches for the Nike Tennis Event for the U.S. Open. Also at the event were actor Bradley Cooper, New York Giants defensive lineman Justin Tuck, and tennis stars Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal.

The beautiful pair were at Century City in L.A. to watch a showing of “Iron Man 2” last Saturday. What DiCaprio did not realize was that people could reserve seats and he did not. They were apparently asked to move four times. A source told us, “During the previews, Leo and his group were asked to move three times. Then, as the trailer for his new movie, ‘Inception,’ began playing, they were asked to move again. They were gracious, [and] Leo was smiling at the irony of it.” The two ended up sitting in the front row, the worst seats in the house, but the two apparently didn’t mind.

A leader of the Extremist Group sent her a beseeching letter on behalf of the Extremist organization. In the letter, they are asking Refaeli to ditch DiCaprio and reconsider marrying a Jewish boy instead. It reads: “It is not by chance that you were born Jewish. Your grandmother and her grandmother did not dream that one of their descendants would one day remove the family’s future generations from the Jewish people. Assimilation has forever been one of the enemies of the Jewish people.” Though he stressed that he has “nothing against Mr. DiCaprio, who I have no doubt is a talented actor,” he is still not the husband-material for a Jewish girl like Refaeili. The Extremist Group said it’s not what the Hollywood superstar is, but what he isn’t. He concluded, “Come to your senses, look forward and back too – and not only the present.
