After six years of marriage, Demi Moore, 49, announced Thursday that she is ending her marriage to 33-year old Ashton Kutcher.
The news is not a great surprise to many. The announcement comes after months of rumors that the couple has been having marital problems. Some speculated that Kutcher, the new star of “Six and a Half Men,” had been unfaithful.
In a statement, Moore said, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone gong through a similar situation.”
Ashton tweeted, “Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”
Moore was previously married to Bruce Willis. They have three daughters together, Rumor, Scout and Tallulah Belle. The two divorced in 2000.
The New York Post estimates the coupe will battle it out in a bitter $290 million divorce.
New Two and a Half men star Ashton Kutcher got naked for a preview video of the Ellen Show.
For Ellen’s Season Premiere, Ashton Kutcher spared no expense, except for one: clothes! Before the show he was wearing nothing more than a robe, and after Ellen talked to him…well, you’ll have to see for yourself.
Kutcher’s “man bits’ were modestly blurred and pixelated but still left little to the imagination. Even admitted lesbian Ellen degeneres took a long hard look before suggesting that Ashton cover up.

Nicki, who is famed for her fashion-forward attire, revealed that she bonded with the popular actress over a footwear-related issue.
“[Kristen] had shoes on that didn’t hurt her feet. And she didn’t care that they looked really kind of crusty. But I did too! I had my Uggs on backstage,’ she revealed. “So that made me bond with her. She’s cute.”
The hit vampire franchise was a big winner at the popular movie awards event in Los Angeles. It picked up five gongs, including Kristen’s award for Best Female Performance and Best Kiss.
Nicki has revealed she didn’t feel nervous before presenting the coveted award. The 26-year-old star says she found her appearance at the event to be fun, rather than pressured.

Ashton Kutcher has officially signed up to replace Charlie Sheen in ‘Two and a Half Men’ – but will earn less than his predecessor.
The ‘No Strings Attached’ star will take home more than $625,000 but less than $900,000 an episode compared to the $1.25 million per show Charlie was banking before he was fired from the comedy series because of his turbulent private life.
According to gossip website TMZ, CBS boss Les Moonves has reportedly signed the deal to get Ashton on board and will soon announce the show will be rebooted for season nine.
It has also been confirmed Ashton will not be replacing Charlie’s character Charlie Harper, but will be portraying someone new.
In addition, Jon Cryer – who Charlie branded a “troll” upon his departure – and Angus T. Jones will also be returning.
The show’s creator Chuck Lorre has been reported to be “really happy” with the decision to get Ashton on board.
A source said: “It’s really funny. People are going to love it. Chuck’s really happy.”
A host of actors including Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven and Rob Lowe had all been tipped to take Charlie’s place in the series.

Well, now there’s one more thing to worry about when Justin Bieber is around: The 16-year-old pop star might be punking you. And you. And you. Although his deal is not signed, and MTV is not officially announcing the return of Ashton Kutcher’s “Punk”d,” with Bieber as its new host, our source told us Tuesday, that the teen heart throb is taking over as lead prankster. The Times has independently confirmed negotiations are underway. Kutcher’s production company, Katalyst, would still produce the practical-joke-centered series, but the singer would be the one announcing the big reveals. The original version went off the air in 2007. Neither Kutcher nor Bieber, two of Twitter’s biggest celebrities, has had a tweet to say about it. Maybe that’s a punk in and of itself.

Fr 5/21: Ashton Kutcher, Larry Miller, Michael Ammar, Brooks & Dunn with Reba McEntire on the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, CBS . Ashton Kutcher: Having acquired legions of loyal female followers with his portrayal of the ever-horny and dimwitted Kelso in the popular television comedy series That 70s Show, it may come as a surprise that male model-turned-actor Ashton Kutcher ironically majored in biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa before his “discovery” in an Iowa bar and subsequent stint on the catwalk for such fashion industry luminaries as Versace and Calvin Klein. Born in Cedar Rapids, IA, along with a fraternal twin named Michael, Kutcher was bitten by the acting bug in high school. Balancing his love for the stage with his talent for wrestling before gravitating toward the former in such high school productions as +Annie, Kutcher worked numerous odd jobs during his tenure at the University of Iowa before winning the Fresh Faces of Iowa contest in 1997 and heading for New York. Competing in that same year’s International Model and Talent Agency competition before being signed to the next agency, Kutcher relocated to Los Angeles the following year and soon landed his breakthrough role on That 70s Show. Though he had small roles in Down to You and Reindeer Games (both 2000), Kutcher’s first major big-screen role was in Dude, Where’s My Car? (also 2000), in which he teamed his airheaded goofiness with that of American Pie’s Sean William Scott. Breaking out of the mold with a more serious turn alongside James Van Der Beek in 2001′s Texas Rangers, a return to comedy wasn’t far behind with a role in My Boss’s Daughter scheduled for release later that same year. Though My Boss’s Daughter would ultimately be pushed back to a late February 2003 release date, Kutcher and actress Brittany Murphy (8 Mile) scored a modest hit when Just Married was released into theaters in early January of the same year. Despite receiving only a lukewarm reception from critics, positive audience turnout ensured that Just Married would nevertheless hold on to a position in the box office top-ten for nearly a month after its release. Though My Boss’s Daughter failed to stir up much at the box-office, the one-two punch of his immensely popular MTV prank show Punk’d and a high-profile romance with Demi Moore shot Kutcher’s celebrity stock through the roof in 2003. He subsequently closed out the year with a self-depricating role in the holiday hit Cheaper by the Dozen. 2004 saw Kutcher trying his hand at drama once again with the supernatural thriller The Butterfly Effect. Though the reviews were mixed, the film had its share of fans among critics and went on to makeup its budget more than three-times over. Kutcher continued finding success on the small-screen by producing the series Beauty and the Geek. In 2005 he teamed with Bernie Mac for the racial comedy Guess Who, but audiences and critics ignored his romantic comedy A Lot Like Love with Amada Peet. 2006 found Kutcher trying his hand at more action oriented fare teaming up with Kevin Costner for The Guardian, and lending his voice to the animated film Open Season along with Martin Lawrence.
