Sandra Bullock to Follow Up Cheating Scandal With MTV Movie Awards Appearance.  Robert Pattinson won’t be the only welcome pretty face when the MTV Movie Awards take place on June 6. Sandra Bullock will also be on hand for the event, in her first public appearance since the cheating scandal that ended her marriage to Jesse James became public in March. The 46-year-old Blind Side actress will be there to receive the MTV Generation Award, which acknowledges actors who have engaged the MTV audience throughout their careers. Bullock will be the first female performer to receive the honor, which in the past has been awarded to Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller, among others. We might be going out on a limb here, but we’re going to guess that Bullock won’t be quite as effusive in her thanks to James as she was at this year’s Oscars.
