Nelly Furtado To Release New "Lifestyle" In May

Nelly Furtado took to her Twitter to reveal the name of her upcoming English language album. The title, she says, is “Lifestyle.” “Lifestyle” is Furtado’s fourth English language album and fifth studio album overall, following the release of her first Spanish language album last year, “Mi Plan.” “Lifestyle” is her first English album since 2006’s “Loose,” which yielded the #1 hits “Say It Right” and “Promiscuous.”  She hooked up with Timbaland for the new album, who also produced most of “Loose.” She recently appeared on his track “Morning After Dark” off his “Shock Value II” album. She’s also rumored to be working with Ryan Tedder, who produced Beyonce’s “Halo” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Already Gone.” The album, Furtado revealed in a previous tweet, is currently set for release on May 25th, 2010. Along with a tour in support of “Mi Plan” in March, where she’ll hit cities in Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, and Argentina, Furtado is also set to perform as part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games concert series. She’ll join other top Canadian acts like Barenaked Ladies and Hedley.
