“Melrose Place” Star Amy Locane Charged With DUI Manslaughter. Original “Melrose Place” star Amy Locane has been charged with second degree vehicular homicide over a fatal drink-driving crash that killed another woman on Sunday night. She faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. According to the court papers obtained by The Star-Ledger, the 38-year-old actress was driving a 2007 Chevy Tahoe north on Cherry Hill Road in Montgomery around 9 p.m. when she struck a 2010 Mercury Milan as it was turning into a driveway. Helene Seeman, who was sitting at the passenger side of the other vehicle, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver, Fred Seeman, was flown to a hospital in New Brunswick. He is listed in critical condition. Locane also crashed into another car before the said accident when she rear-ended a car in Princeton, Somerset County, several miles from the second crash. When the driver of the first car tried to call police, Locane apparently drove off. She apparently admitted to police that she consumed several glasses of wine before driving. She is currently facing second-degree vehicular homicide and third-degree assault by auto. Her bail is set at $50,000.
