Lindsay Lohan Facing Possible Blacklist In India

Lindsay Lohan may not be able to step foot in India again. A few months after boasting of her alleged child-saving efforts in the South Asian country, the 23-year-old actress is facing a possible ban from visiting. It has been learned that she violated visa rules during her visit. Lohan visited India in December to work on a BBC documentary on women and children trafficking. She even boasted personally rescuing 40 children during a raid on a child labor sweatshop, claiming the experience changed her life.  She wrote on her Twitter, “Over 40 children saved so far? Within one day’s work? This is what life is about? Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!” However, it was learned that the actress hadn’t even arrived in the country when the raid was held. But now, it seems that Lohan may not repeat her brag. According to reports, she came to India on a tourist visa but she should have applied for a working visa instead. The Indian Consulate in San Francisco has referred her case to New Delhi for putting it under blacklist. Senior officials are now reviewing the case, according to indianexpress.com
