Lady Gaga
As if she wasn’t already animated enough, Lady Gaga has been imortalized as a comic book character in an exclusive not-quite graphic novel being sold at Marc Jacobs retail stores. The Brian Einersen illustrated comic stands as Gaga’s second collaboration with the prodigious fashion designer Marc Jacobs after the two co-hosted the New York Fashion Week after party for his Spring/Summer 2010 line in September where Gaga donned a risqué scarlet lace body suit as she performed for the attendees.
Look, up in the sky. It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, its Lady Saga. Lady Gaga has been turned into comic book hero Lady Saga. Creator Brian Einersen tells our source that Lady Saga will always use her powers for good. ‘She will still use her powers of wit and style,’ he tells our source. ‘However, like every good superhero, she is looking for a sidekick. Lady Godiva, Lady Bug and Lady Britney have expressed interest in the role. Stay tuned!’ Einersen released his Lady Saga comic book in the United States this week and it sells exclusively at Marc Jacobs stores. However, he does not know if the real Lady Gaga (Stefanie Germanotta) has likes it. ‘I don’t know. I hope she liked it,’ he says. Lady Saga came into being in June 2009. Brian Einersen graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University with a B.A. in Classical Languages. He studied at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
