Jane Lynch Guest Stars As Sam’s Mom On “iCarly”.  The anticipated Jane Lynch episode on “iCarly” is set to premiere this month. The “Glee” star will be guest starring as Sam’s never-before-seen, eccentric mother in the Nickelodeon show on September 11. The Emmy Award-winning actress will play Sam’s (Jennette McCurdy) mother, Pam, in the episode, in which Sam will be seen moving in with Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Spencer (Jerry Trainor) after an argument with Pam.  It will be up to Carly to figure out how to bring the mother and daughter back together. Lynch recently won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2010 Emmy Awards for her role as Sue Sylvester on “Glee.”
