Last night lingerie fashion shows did take over the screens of millions of people. H&M did webcast the fantastical fashion show for their collaboration with Sonia Rykiel. H&M has been teaming up with some of the hottest designers to bring collections to the masses. Most recently, their collaboration with Jimmy Choo made waves in the fashion community. Sonia Rykiel show will take place at the Grand Palais in Paris, France but can be seen wherever you are via www.hm.com/soniarykiel . The show was
held at The Armory on Nov. 19, 2009, in New York City and included musical guests The Black Eyed Peas. Last night you saw Marissa Miller in the most expensive brassiere i’ve ever seen, $3 million diamond-studded Harlequin Fantasy Bra, and the ever impressive Heidi Klum as she opens up the show. Both of these events are exciting on their own merit. What’s even more exciting is that they are giving the people who will buy the products the access to see and be a part of the shows. I commend VS and H&M for this. Certain industries and their history has sown us that scantily clad women are highly marketable online and on our home televisions. I’ll be looking forward to the ratings for both events.
