Eminem continued his streak at #1 this week on the Billboard albums chart, narrowly beating out the debut from Rick Ross who was predicted to enter in the top spot. Eminem spends a fifth week at #1 with “Recovery,” selling 187,000 copies this week and sliding only 4% in sales. Rick Ross’ first three studio albums all debuted at #1. His latest, “Teflon Don,” moves 176,000 copies its first week for the #2 position. The album features guest spots from T.I., Kanye West, Jay-Z, and more. Sheryl Crow debuts at #3 with her latest soul-inspired record “100 Miles from Memphis ,” selling 55,000 copies in its first week. She earns her eighth top 10 album with the set, which includes appearances from Justin Timberlake, Citizen Cope, and a cover of the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.” Drake is down a notch this week to #4 with “Thank Me Later,” selling 47,000 copies. The Kidz Bop Kids debut at #5 with their latest compilation, “Kidz Bop 18,” selling 43,000 copies. It’s the 11 th set of Kidz Bop Kids covering Top 40 hits to hit the top 10. Justin Bieber is down a spot to #6 this week with “My World 2.0,” selling 39,000 copies this week. The Jonas Brothers debut at #7 this week with the soundtrack to their Disney Channel show, “Jonas L.A.” The soundtrack, which features their Radio Disney hits “L.A. Baby” and “Feelin’ Alive,” moves 32,000 copies in its first week. The rest of the top 10 climbs back in from being absent last week. The “Now 34” compilation climbs up to #8 this week, selling 27,000 copies. Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” is up to #9 this week, selling 25,000 copies.
