Corey Michaels Celebrates Album Release With Performance At Score Nightclub.  “Who Killed the King?” probes up-and-coming dance music artist Corey Michaels on his brand new album. The provocative title may be questioning the death of the King of Pop last year (or less likely, Tut). But his debut, celebrating its release with a performance at Miami Beach nightclub Score this week, offers up the birth of an exciting new music act. Michaels’ “Who Killed the King?” is ultra-relevant in the current pop modern landscape. Infectious synths, hard-hitting beats influenced by both American and Euro club scenes, superhuman effect-filled vocals, and exceedingly hook-laden choruses are all present across its 7 tracks like “All Your Love” and “Rockstar.” “Without a doubt, I wrote songs I would have fun performing,” Michaels said about his debut, which packs in enough slickly produced slices of pop into its 22-minutes to make any artist, exec or pop music fan take note. “I think the visual medium is just as important as the audio medium.” Michaels will give club-goers a first taste of a visual accompaniment to “Who Killed the King?” when he performs selections from the album at his release party this Friday, June 18th at Score nightclub. As part of the Friday night party Filthy Gorgeous, Michaels will take the stage with his dancers to perform some of the album’s highlights. “I can’t wait for Friday’s performance,” Michaels said. “I’ve had so much fun putting it together. It’s going to be 100% Corey and, after Friday, you’ll know exactly what that means.” “Who Killed the King?” is now available for purchase on iTunes.
