Caro Emerald (real name Caroline van der Leeuw, born April 26, 1981 in Amsterdam, NL) is a Dutch singer. She released her first single Back It Up in July 2009. In December 2009 she released her second single A Night Like This. Her first album, Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor was released on January 29, 2010. The album features a mix of ballroom jazz, tangos and mambo’s in a contemporary production.
