Congratulations to the regional finalists from Newfoundland to British Columbia for Canadian Radio Star, the nation’s largest annual songwriting event! All 12 artists will be showcasing at Canadian Music Fest and are now competing for the slot of “National Songwriter Winner.” The National winner will be announced on Saturday, March 13th at 11:15 a.m. as part of the Canadian Music Week Conference.  Presented by music’s best ally, Astral Media Radio, the event continues its mission to discover potential future stars at a regional, grassroots level, showcasing them to the music industry and general public alike.  Self-published or non-published songwriters will compete for prizes and the chance to have their material heard by Canada’s top radio movers and shakers, recording industry executives, hit songwriters and a new legion of fans.
